I wrote a myTake on this on my other account but I feel this needs to be talked about again. I am once more seeing "I've never had a boyfriend..." and "I'm still a virgin at ____ years old, is this weird?"

Like no, it is NOT fucking weird. It is none of anyone elses business how much or how little sex you've had.

No one should care except yourself and maybe the person you marry. It should not affect the way someone thinks of you either. In fact, I have more respect for people my age and older who are still virgins simply because so many people nowadays are just having tons of sex and not waiting. But I still respect men and women who are more experienced. If it's vaginal, anal or oral sex.

It's perfectly okay if you're a virgin and 30 years old. You just haven't found someone you want to fuck or maybe you're waiting for marriage. Maybe it's fate telling you to wait for the one you love.

It'll also help if you end up falling in love with someone who is also a virgin, especially if they're waiting for marriage.

No one should fucking care if you're a virgin or not, if you've had tons of boy/girl friends or none at all.

I couldn't agree more it is outside societal pressure that compounds the issue, people should be dreaming of falling in love not obsessing over their first time with someone who they may or may not be in love with.

I'm ok with what you say here. But I don't think it's a good idea to make virginity a thing to be proud about. I guess maybe you do that because many people makes it look like something to be ashamed about. Which I think is wrong too. But virginity is certainly no something to worship.
I lost it when I was 28 to my first girlfriend. And then I realized it was a totally stupid thing to do, waiting so many years. She lost it at 16 and had sex with many guys and that ruined out relationship. I couldn't get over our differences regarding sexual experience. I ended our relationship some days ago. I've been sad for more than a year and couldn't take it anymore. She doesn't want our relationship to end but there's nothing she can do.
I waited many years thinking sex was something precious and I end up learning almost everyone out there doesn't think like that. I learned many people who I thought were virgins, were not. The truth is most people don't think virginity is important. If you wait for it you'll end up loosing it to someone who doesn't care about that. And your waiting would be useless.
