To answer it simply, he just wants to masturbate. He's horny at the moment and his girlfriend can't or won't have sex with him when he is. She's not giving him oral or anything that can get him off at the moment. It could be she's not there, or she just doesn't want to. So he can't set off his fireworks unless he does it himself.
Its nothing to worry about in the relationship. He's not fantasizing about being in a relationship with those girls in the videos. He's not putting unrealistic standards on your face and body image by comparing you to a porn star, because he's not holding you to those standards. Also most guys know girls don't act like that in real life, its purely to jack off and that guys are more visual. They enjoy more visual stimulation and its normal. The girls mean nothing to him.
Now the times when its a problem are when he's a porn addict or he picks porn over having sex with you, assuming you offered and he refused. This doesn't happen very often and doesn't mean porn is bad. Take something thats commonly accepted like aspirin. Just because 20% or less of people who took it , took 15 tablets at once, overdosed, and went into serious critical condition , doesn't mean that aspirin is "bad" and detrimental to our well being. Just because the small percentage who misused it had bad effects doesn't mean those terrible effects represents the majority or normal outcome of taking an aspirin. So the small percentage of guys who are porn addicts or had porn take priority over their sex life don't represent the normal effects of guys looking at porn.
Most of the time its harmless, with no higher standards put on his girlfriend, and no implication he's not satisfied with being in his relationship. Guys are just more visual and enjoy more visual stimulation. Even though its last, its the most important, he wants to tug his friend, until he explodes with his friend's sea people , that grand finale of New Year's Eve fireworks, is what he's looking for. He's just a guy trying to bust his nut.

0 2A very logical take - I have no problem with it - My issues with pornography are perception one side brushes any dark side under the carpet and this creates an artificiality of acceptance which enrages the other side who come back making the dark side far too dark.
If I could widen it out it is like taking a stance and saying it is perfect (okay it may have flaws but I won't address them, to admit anything is weak) therefore everybody else's stance is totally wrong. That will invariably enrage the other sides to lash back in a knee jerk fashion thus creating polarised positions and arguments/drama.
What I am saying there is room for everyone of people who read this take, there will be people who love porn and there will be people who don't get it, never watch it, so be it to each their own.
