Stop Shaming Prostitutes And Their Clients!

I really can't stand how prostitutes and their clients, are being treated in this site . Those damn hookers, are dirty, they carry millions of STDs, etc. As for clients, they are desperate and losers.

But well, it seems like that in America (since most users are Americans here) they suffer from prostitution phobia. No wonder it's illegal there (Apart from Nevada. Why other States don't?). But isn't it hypocritical? Americans watch porn by a ton. Most porn-stars are Americans. Still, prostitution shaming, is a big thing there.

Anyway, as a proud client of those ladies for 8 years, since I was 17, I want to stand my ground, and explain to those people why prostitutes aren't dirty, and why clients are not losers.

For prostitutes:

(In alphabetical order)

1) It's not a shameful job

Stop Shaming Prostitutes And Their Clients!

Many consider it a shameful job, but it's not. Those women get paid in order to give pleasure to men. What's so bad about it? If there's one shameful job, is those guys in blue uniforms who are willing to make your life difficult, if they don't like your skin color or the clothes you wear.

2) It's their only option sometimes

Stop Shaming Prostitutes And Their Clients!

Either because someone's abusing them, or they have no other options apart from converting into prostitution. Others might enjoy what they're doing indeed. By the way it's really rude to ask a prostitute if she enjoys her job, if in case you're willing to go with one.

But anyway, should she be looked down, because she had no other option? I don't get this logic. For any reason they converted into prostitution, must be respected.

3) They always use condoms

Stop Shaming Prostitutes And Their Clients!

There's NO prostitute in the world who's going to allow sex without a condom. And chances for the condom to break, are like 1 out of 10000. It's more possible to get hit by a car than having a condom broken. Should people stop using cars then? It makes no sense.

4) They get checked regularly

Stop Shaming Prostitutes And Their Clients!

If not all, most of them at least do it. At least in countries where prostitution is legal, like here where I live. Many men are into this sport and no cases of infection have been surfaced. Maybe only a few among millions. It's just your fear, and perhaps bad sexual education in school. Also they always shower before and after each session, or if you visit their place they tell you to shower before you begin.

5) They know how to be generous

Stop Shaming Prostitutes And Their Clients!

No, if you think they view each client as a bunch of Euros/Pounds/Dollars or whatever currency you use, then you are wrong. Well it's something I cannot explain, this one. You must be one of us to understand this. But I'll only tell you they value the money they get, and they value you even more, if you happen to be a loyal client.

For clients:

(In alphabetical order)

1) A good option for married men

Stop Shaming Prostitutes And Their Clients!

I believe getting a prostitute is a good option for a guy who is married. And the truth is, many among their clients are married men with kids. If you are married with the same woman for years, you would like something different after some point. So, instead of finding a side chick, it's better to get a prostitute as an alternative option. It's not cheating in my opinion.

2) If they didn't exist many guys would be lead to rape.

Stop Shaming Prostitutes And Their Clients!

Why do you think rape percentages are high in America? Because prostitution there is illegal. And perhaps because guys who've been with prostitutes -illegal- are shamed as well. Why do you think rape percentages are lower in countries were prostitution is legal? Think about it.

3) It's a good and sure option if you don't want to commit.

Stop Shaming Prostitutes And Their Clients!

Casual sex exist indeed. But some people might find it awkward to ask a woman out of the blue for casual sex. So getting a professional is a more sure option in these cases.

4) Many guys lost their virginity to them.

Stop Shaming Prostitutes And Their Clients!

There are many guys I know, who went into brothels when they were teens, escorted by their fathers (or uncles, or an adult in general), or with a Call-Girl if they come from a richer family. Many fathers consider, their son becomes a man by losing his virginity. And if they don't have a girlfriend, what's so bad about visiting a professional?

And I believe, it's a good way for a guy to lose his virginity. He'll be satisfied more, in my opinion.

5) Sometimes your girlfriend/wife cannot provide you a certain fantasy/fetish.

Stop Shaming Prostitutes And Their Clients!

Everyone has a fantasy/fetish more or less, right? You might be ashamed to express it to your girlfriend/wife, or she just might be unable to provide it to you. So why not do it with a professional?

  • As an ex prostitute myself (one of those high end escorts if it makes a difference) I've learnt to not care what people think as they can't possibly know until they have tried it themselves.
You have the reasons for prostitution spot on but I heavily dislike the excuses and justifications of clients paying for sex.

You shouldn't be able to buy something so prescious simply because you want it and can't get it for free.
People aren't commodities!! Prostitution wouldn't exist if men had control over themselves.
The only clients I had a soft spot for are the virgins (who happened to be the same age as me) or the ones with social disabilities. In fact, I felt wrong taking their money as they themselves saved up and they still had innocence.
I would actively try and convince them to not see me again. I let them have my number just to chat and help build their confidence.

The rest are all self entitled pricks who took advantage of young females that don't have financial support and have hit bad times.
If I was truly shallow, i would have gotten a rich boyfriend and manipulated him. But thats not who I am. I lost my job and had no choice. I made up for it after I quit and gave a lot of extra money I had away to those in need and traveled to poorer countries.
To able to cope seeing clients I would often drink, party constantly and distract myself. They loved buying me nice things, chocolates and wine.
I had many clients actually try and get me hooked on cocaine but I refused.
They are seriously damaged people that need help and spiritual connection - not for their habits to be JUSTIFIED.
Clients don't see us as humans. They see us as nicely wrapped young pussy that they can bang behind their wives cause we won't snitch.
I actually had a lot of respect from my clients because I would treat them equally to a boyfriend. They wouldn't be allowed to demand. My agent used to say a few were in love with me cause they wouldn't see anyone else as I had self respect. Unlike other escorts.
But I am a strong woman. Many prostitutes get bullied by men into having unprotected sex and all sorts.
And clients LOVE how easy they are for money.

The sex industry as a whole is filling voids in peoples hearts and needs to go.
Its damaging to society and belongs in the dark ages.

    • I used to say to a new client, "The money we are exchanging is as if you bought me a few cocktails at my favourite bar, got us a hotel room and gave me a bit of spending money. I wouldn't sleep with you if you turned up stinking or rude" Hardly any girl would have the guts to say this in fear the client would walk away! And I would kick a client out if he tried to sneakily take his condom off whilst other girls would accept that treatment because they had no confidence and needed the money. I have seen girls come out of a job crying at my agency countless times. I hate the idea of a young inexperienced girl in a world where you have to be TOUGH or get HIV and raped. And thats the reality. there's no middle ground.

  • you're a good man you pay to play there's nothing wrong with that keep on doing what you do

  • If you legalize prostitution it will lower rape crimes, pimping drastically and stop it being gang related. Germany and places like Amsterdam prove this.

  • If I ever found out my man had paid for sex in the past, I'd lose ALL attraction to him IMMEDIATELY, and I would absolutely have to end the relationship. There's just NO WAY I could get over that.

If a guy is willing to pay for sex with a prostitute, that means that he's OK with fucking someone who doesn't *want* to fuck HIM.
Worse yet, he has to *still* want to fuck her immediately after negotiating a price and paying cash... ugh. How any man could do that, is utterly beyond my capacity to imagine.

If a guy is willing to go through with that, then that means he thinks about sex in a way that's fundamentally different from, and incompatible with, my own values.
I absolutely abhor the thought of fucking someone who doesn't WANT me -- and I absolutely DEMAND that my man feel the same way.
That's not something I can compromise on.

    • Most legal prostitutes are so by choice, meaning they do "want" to fuck the guy, for whatever reason. I wouldn't want my guy to see prostitutes behind my back while we're dating - lying about it makes it cheating in my opinion - but to include his past is a bit harsh. I have made stupid choices in my past. Hell, I've made stupid choices yesterday. Doesn't mean I'd be less of a good girlfriend.

    • I know very well you're from Murica, there's no need to keep your profile private. And if you reject someone who's been with a hooker even just once, shows what kind of person you are. You should be ashamed of yourself. And last but not least. It may sound cruel but I'm happy seeing terrorist attacks in the US. I believe you deserve it. You destroyed millions of people before, both physically and mentally, so don't cry now. And by mentally I mean by various nations trying to adopt your crappy lifestyle. So it's only fair when a terrorist attack occurs in your "Land Of Freedom". Don't try to answer back because you were blocked. Now go, and don't even think of stepping your dirty foot here again. (Don't forget to delete my comment, because I was speaking my mind.)

  • So prostitution is empowering and helps men stay faithful to their wives. I hope you're a troll.

    • Don't hope such things.

  • I agree with you that this website has a serious wh***phobia problem. I agree with what you said about sex workers (my friends in the industry do not like the p word - I think its better not to use it, at least), although I'm not really convinced that men would be 'lead to rape' if they didn't hire girls

  • If you ask any normal married woman here how she felt about their husband paying to have sex with someone other than her, then the majority of them will be furious. This is a fact, not just an opinion.

I don't understand why people like you bitch about how other people view/believe things in other countries. Do you seriously think your beliefs and the beliefs of those in your country is the right way of believing things? How small minded and self centered are you?

Many people here in America value their relationships and respect their partners (in our own way and standards) by only having sexual relations with them. Or sometimes with having approval of the other to have relations with someone else along with their partners (threesomes, foursomes, etc). Our way of respect for our partners may not be the same as other countries. So that makes us wrong?

Now about allowing prostitution here, I wouldn't be opposed to it being legal because I honestly do believe it could reduce the high number of rape cases. I think it should be a do it at your own risk kind of thing. But I wouldn't ever be with someone who has had sex with a prostitute or someone who just had friends with benefits because I value the intimacy that comes with sex (making "love" for a reason). These are my beliefs, and they are my right to have. You have yours, and you have just as much of a right as I do with mine. But do not disrespect people because they don't believe or accept the same things as you. We are allowed to have the values we have.

    • At least admit, you Americans aren't progressive.

    • people cheat, it's how it is.

  • I disagree with your statements on @redeyemindtricks her opinion. Revenge has never been a good solution to pain in the world and the citizens usually have nothing to do with what their governments decide. Why on earth would you support the terrorist attacks? Innocent people are innocent people no matter where they happen to live. Fighting violence with violence doesn't solve anything, it just creates more violence and hate (unless you can do something to stop slaughter in the future).

    • Well, didn't take long for him to show his true colors ahahah

    • And the US government has destroyed innocent people from other countries. Is it false? An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.

    • @redeyemindtricks Im still not agreeing with you either :p doesn't mean I suddenly hate you as a whole and want to murder your country - I just disagree with one little opinion of yours.

  • I know that you think you have found the moral high ground but you have a defective compass and what you have found is simply blind self-justification. Hitler was convinced that his position was morally just; self-assuredness is not a barometer of whether you are right.

By the way, if you are so convinced that you are right about this issue, why did you post this anonymously?

    • Because I'm a Guru here and I always post anonymously since I started.

    • That is not a justification for posting anonymously when you are so convinced that you are right.

  • 😥😥😥😥😥😥😥

  • Honestly, I think you should have stopped at "It's not a shameful job" and "it's their only option sometimes".

Especially this point "If they didn't exist many guys would be lead to rape" is quite concerning

    • The main reason why this MyTake was posted is to shame American culture actually. Like the one about being "jacked".

    • Well not every man can find a partner. Prostitution increases and will further increase because the majority of women have a high list of demands that they want in a partner such as over 6ft height, money, model looks, muscle, status, bad boys and players that men just cannot attain. Where your average nice guy or ugly short man can't compete when women are chasing the top 10% of men for a relationship... just go to bar or a dating website and you know what I mean. Women are just to difficult to maintain or even attempt a relationship with because of their list of requirements.

    • @Indigo91 Or maybe you are difficult to be with? Because plenty of men have decent relationships or casual sex. Your demands are unattainable and self entitled since you won't pick the average prostitute. you'll pick the prettiest. This is life. If you want a woman then improve yourself just like many women work hard to maintain their beauty to get a handsome man. If you are in a bar then you are in a SHALLOW environment. Its common sense. Maybe you belong there since you are shallow yourself.

  • On the face of it I agree with you - If the girl and client have a safe and healthy business relationshipthat is fine - My shall we say disagreement with prostitution is the dark side sex trafficking, pimps, unsafe/risky practices, emotional mindsets for sex workers and clients.
A good indicator is often to watch documentaries and see the behind the scenes interviews with the sex workers away from the public façade and the bosses, it is fascinating. Now I won't say all but a good proportion of them have quite severe psychological problems and the reasons they are in prostitution are not good or staying in the job is not helping them.

    • This "dark side" does exist but is grossly exaggerated (the numbers those documentaries put out don't even add up, as any freshman sociology student could tell you, usually this is because they mix sources and will for example quote religious organizations who use different definitions than you or I) because people want to believe in it since otherwise they can't reasonably justify being opposed to legalized prostitution or because it simply feels good to believe there's some huge dark conspiracy out there that you can fight against. The truth is that legalization would reduce the already small dark side and that as it is law enforcement resources are wasted chasing ghosts, leading to other crimes going unsolved (like the far more common human trafficking and abuse of foreign factory and agricultural workers) and law enforcement agencies f*cking up (the perps getting away) in the rare cases where they really do encounter some dark Taken-esque human trafficking operation.

    • Its odd to me that you know enough to say the term 'sex workers' but not enough to stop SWERF/antis propaganda. Those 'documentaries' are usually a lot of crap. It's a shitty industry as much as electronics is a shitty industry (remember that your TV uses materials that are mined via forced labour in the Congo, etc.), but the idea that sex workers have "severe psychological problems" (anotherway to say a mental illness, like a good 50% of the rest of us) is pretty much anti-BS. I know a lot of full-service, street/survival sex workers. They're there for the same reason anyone takes a shitty job. I've had friends who did SW when they were homeless (along with other unskilled jobs like picking crops and cleaning boats), and friends who are doing it to get through college. If we really care about "helping them" - for most people their "help" goes no further than saying its bad - we can look to their labour unions, which they have, and support their demands, the major one being: decrim.

    • @Laura_Marx I absolutely agree with SW union and decriminalisation but in some countries legalisation hasn't worked it has just meant the ex pimps are now the legal bosses. I would be in favour of say brothels with strict regulation to protect both SW and client. I think the point I was trying to make was not so much in support of the "Anti" brigade in fact a SW is far more likely to better position to get help if they need it in a good "Legal" position than a bad "Illegal" position. I am neutral on prostitution in a level playing field and having no feelings either way that it is my business once we get to the ideal of the SW and the Client being safe and protected. I should have clarified the more "Legal" the position the more content the "SWs" seemed to be.

  • STOP USING WOMEN. I HATE YOU.

    • Most women allow themselves to be used in exchange for money, so stop bitching about it.

  • Here, prostitutes are diseased. Murdered by their pimps and clients, or beat within an inch of their lives. They are victims of abduction and forced into prostitution, because they have no other choice. The people that take them, shoot them full of drugs, then film them being raped by multiple men, so that their spirits are broken. The girls are literally broken until they have to do heroin or crack to not feel. Sometimes, these girls get shipped over seas and end up in various countries red light districts.

  • What concerns me most is prostitution, where it isn't heavily regulated, hurts the prostitutes. In areas where it's legal but unregulated, prostitutes live shorter lives and they live unhappier lives. They often suffer from psychological damage.

This is why I strongly discourage it.

As for those who can't get sex owing to some kind of health or psychological problem, I would encourage them to better themselves. As for those who can't better themselves, I might consider seeking a sexual surrogate, though such people are sometimes heaped in without prostitutes.

by the way, why is prostitution on option for married men?

    • Isn't it boring being with the same woman for decades?

    • No, it isn't.

    • If it were boring, don't get married in the first place.

  • Cheating has a new definition now. LMAO to this take. I am not sure if this is a serious take or not.

I am in no way against prostitution, and I believe it should be legalized with proper health and economic regulations, but it does not change the definition of cheating for me.

  • Prostitution is probably the oldest profession on earth and frankly, if it's legal, I don't see the issue.

I just can't get behind it from a personal standpoint, though. I keep coming back to a Seinfeld quote, where Elaine begs George to just pay for a parking garage instead of circling and looking for a spot on the street. And George replies, "It's like sex. Why should I pay for it when if I apply myself, maybe I can get it for free?" :P

And I will never say it's okay for a married person to do it. Sorry, you made a vow. Either stick to it or drop it entirely.

  • Most women hate prostitution because they're insecure about themselves. They feel threatened when sex can be bought because deep down they're afraid they don't have the personality to keep their man committed to them and they don't like the hassle of being adventurous in (and outside of the) bed and putting an effort in their appearance. It's the same reason women slut-shame other women. When you have the personality of a potato, tricked your man into marriage when he was young, horny and stupid and you've let yourself go afterwards it's far easier to vote to ban prostitution than to work on yourself so your man won't even think about visiting a prostitute.

Men follow suit because they think that will make women like them more and/or because they want to think of themselves as white knights rescuing damsels in distress. Mix this with religious beliefs and a hidden idea that women can't make decisions as well/as responsibly as men and you can explain why so many people are against female prostitution but not against male prostitution.

  • Pornography is a form of prostitution which I likewise do not approve of so your mentioning it is kind of a non sequitur. I do agree however that prostitution should be legalized and regulated.

Prostitution is shameful though however and more so the clients who utilize it. It signifies that a man has fallen to the lowest of the low. It is the ultimate sacrament for loser "nice guys" everywhere. Instead of joining the gym, bettering themselves, and becoming more confident to meet a woman the normal way, they would rather drop hundreds and possibly thousands for a woman who is probably laughing at him behind his back.

It encourages laziness and the refusal to better yourself. Everything I hate about the "nice guy" group.

    • @redeyemindtricks

    • I agree that prostitution should be legalized and regulated but the rest you talk utter shite

    • @Indigo91 Johns are losers. Fat, middle aged and balding blue collars stuck in dead end jobs who've never had a girlfriend. If I were that desperate I would rather get a gym membership. Everyone can at least have a good body if they work hard enough.
