Facts about Sex... According to Science

Here we go! There are many studies that are conducted about sex.. Here's a list of some reasons on some sexual facts that are made by studies! Sounds rather boring once you hear the word 'studies', but it's worth a quick read!

1. Pants fabric VS sex drive

There was a study conducted by Ahmed Shafik which examined the sex drives of rats with different types of pants. Out of all the fabrics Polyester seemed to diminish a rats sex drive more than any other fabric..and with that, the study was set that it happens on humans too.

2. Men under stress

There was a study where male participants were asked to take a simulate job interview and to give a 5 minute speech persuading the employers to hire them. After the interview, they were given pictures of women of different sizes and to rate the. Stressed out participants ended up rating heavier women significantly higher.

3. Quality over Quantity

In 2015 a study was experimented for a group of couples who were instructed to have twice as much sex, and another group to just have the usual amount. The first group that were instructed to have twice as much, ended up having less energy, less enthusiasm and the sex was apparently worse.

4. Natural smell

A study was that resulted in the statement of 'Want to turn on your girlfriend or wife? Skip the cologne, please.' This study involved female genitals to be hooked to a device that detects vaginal blood flow. It was found that sexual arousal of women who inhaled men's cologne was actually reduced.

5. Owning a cat = BDSM

According to a study, a type of parasite that is found in cats known as Toxoplasma gondii, could make cat owners feel sexually aroused by fear, pain, submissiveness and danger..

6. Larger penis = more chance of being cheated on

According to a Kenyan study, it found that women associate a large penis with pain and discomfort. "Every one inch longer penis increased the likelihood of women being involved in extra-marital partnership by almost one and a half times."

7. Men fake it too

A study conducted by the University of Kansas in 2010 showed that 28% of men have faked an orgasm.

I hate it when someone says "according to science" as if "science" is one big "science" and they really have no clue which "science" they are actually talking about.

There is no reason to do serious statistical analysis on such topics, since very little is understood about human psychology. Whoever carried out these "surveys" probably meant it to be taken as a joke.

Hey, just sayin. We have different "cums" in that some involve our entire body and are more intense. Most women think we cum and it means we thought it was earth shattering or equivalent to a woman having an orgasm. Similar to how women have different intensities to their orgasms. I've even had it when I've had sex, but not came on account of mentally I wasn't fulling involved or I didn't feel like coming. You can't just blanket us as so simple. We are more simple than women, but not completely guaranteed.

The fact about Quality over Quantity is probably more due to the fact they were "instructed" to have more sex, whether they felt like it and with no care for their sexual drives. So of course they will feel pressured by it and it wouldn't feel natural or pleasurable any more, just would feel like work.
