This was probably one of the funniest things that's ever happened to me, it's one of my favorite stories to tell. I'm mostly typing this out because I tell a lot of internet people about this, so now I could just share this.
Back when I was in high school, in senior year, one of my close guy friends asked me to prom. Naturally he was a good friend, so I said yea. Later that day I told my mom about it, and I should note both of my moms knew this guy well as we hung out a lot before, so my mom came up with an idea to mess with.
So the following day he came over my house, and right when my mom got home from work, she started to blast him with something like "you didn't get my blessing", and he was a little confused, so she made up this thing about how it's Indian tradition that a guy has to come see the mom when he wants to ask her daughter to a dance and rub her feet to get her blessing. My friend was a little confused, but low and behold, he bought it, so my mom took off her flats, and brought her feet to his lap, and he started to rub them. He complained about the smell, but otherwise it was pretty uneventful.
After about a hour probably, my mom said "alright now it's time for the next step." My friend was confused, so my mom clarified and said that it was indian tradition for the guy to kiss the mother's feet for her blessing, again making it up. My guy friend looked to me when she said that and I told him that's how it was and went along with it, as did my other mother. So my friend bought it, and he brought the top of my mom's feet to his face and kissed them. But my mom wasn't satsified with that and told him that's not where he had to kiss. Again my friend was confused, and then my mom ran her finger up and down the soles of one of her feet and said that was where he had to kiss.
My friend began to protest at this point, finally, but my mom starts making up BS about how he doesn't respect Indian tradition or want to take her daughter to prom kinda angrily, and my friend buys it. So with a heavy sigh, he actually puts his lips against my mom's feet.
At this point, me and my other mom are trying to hold back laughter, and we have our phones out and start recording him. My mom tells him to keep kissing and he does, and then eventually tells him that he could kiss them better or something like that. (Currently he is just doing light quick pecks)
My other mom jumps in and starts instructing him how to kiss them, and eventually after like 20 minutes he starts kissing them the "right" way and he's using tongue and putting more pressure against them and staying longer. It was gross buth onestly really funny.
I'm not sure how long we left him doing that after that. I thought it was only a hour, but I talked to one of my moms about it a little bit ago and she said it lasted like 2 hours because she watched an entire movie. It was hilarious, and a little sweet. I couldn't believe my friend actually kissed my mom's sweaty feet. I don't know I thought it was really funny, I hope you did too.
Likewise, after that had finished, I think while we were having dinner, he figured out that there was no such tradition, and we all just took him for a wild ride. So he did figure it out. He was upset, and he made us "delete" the pictures and videos. (Although honestly, even though my mom tells me different, I'm 100% certain she still has it).
