Education

The education system is in favor of girls. Guys aren't allowed to do things like build things anymore. Shop classes have been pulled from High Schools. Girls (on average) get better grades than guys. Girls outnumber guys in college. Girls are soon gonna take over the World because Young Girls are more successful than Young Guys on average. Girls are naturally more intelligent than guys.

Justice

The justice system is in favor of women. There are less women than men in prison. Women serve less time than guys for the exact same crime. Guys have no say in abortion. Guys lose most custody battles. Divorce is very much in favor of women. Enough said. These needs to stop.

Sex and Dating

Guys are still expected to pay for the first date. Guys are shamed for liking kinky types of sex, where as girls are praised for it. If a guy masturbates - he's weird. If a girl masturbates, she's normal. If a girl sleep around, she'd "embracing her sexuality". If a guy sleeps around, he's an STD riddled "Fuckboy". If a girl cheats, she was had no choice because she was in a bad relationship. If a guy cheats, he's a piece of shit. If a girls wants sex and a guy refuses, he "must be gay". If a guy wants sex and a girl refuses, he better stop right there unless he's a rapist. Last, but not least, when girls rape guys they get away with it. Everyone scoffs and female on male rape - which is so wrong.

  • I dont agree with the sex stuff other than girls getting away with raping guys. Its so dumb when people are like "Its not possible blabla". A girl can roofie a guy and then give him viagra, so wth? I also kinda agree on guys being expected to pay for the first date. Of course its "traditionally" very "gentlemanly" but nowadays women have jobs too and can pay for their own food and probably even their dates food. ALSO I agree on the thing about guys being called gay if they dont wanna sleep with a girl.

    I also dont really agree with the abortion thing. I mean yea they dont but they also dont have to carry the (possibly unwanted) baby inside their bodies for 9 months and then push them through a tiny hole that partly rips. If the guy wants a baby and the girl doesn't or the other way round, they simply should use birth control.
    The fact that guys lose custody battles also sucks because the guy probably loves his children just as much as the girl does. Also, mothers can be just as abusive towards their children as fathers. Not too long ago there was an incident on the news in the netherlands where a mother got full custody of her 6year old girl even though the father wanted custody too. The father seemed like a good man and he had a job and stepchildren with his new wife. The mother of the girl didn't care about the girl at all. Long story short the mother threw her daughter out of the window of her flat apartment, she wasn't even found guilty bc "there wasn't enough proof" -_-

  • I agree with some stuff but the first bit is so not true, pretty much all the schools ik have shop class and the last one, guys brag about masturbating i have never heard a girl even talk about it girls are way more slut shamed

    • Well see the "slut shaming" doesn't come from guys, but rather from other girls... It wasn't like that in my school. Me and my best friend who was a girl talked about that stuff and laughed all the time. I mean the guys that did it were seen as perverts so you know.. it goes both ways. I mean I've never actually heard a guy over the age of 15 being proud of masturbating, because this is the point where kids start to have sex here.. it becomes legal at 15. The girls I hang around on the daily call these male sluts: fuckboys. But there's one difference. The girls would still go out with them no matter how many girls the dude had sex with. Girls generally don't care about that and that's why guys aren't shamed for it as much. I wouldn't like my next girlfriend to have had a ton of wieners inside of her... especially not at my age.

    • I really doubt that. We are hardwired to not do that. Even in countries where one sex has way lesser rights than the other, usually both have some rights even if it is only in relation to being needed by the other sex.

  • To say that girls are smarter than boys aka women are smarter than men, I think Isaac Newton and Nikola Tesla would both disagree with this statement. Women were smart by using the government to gain over men. But that's because men were not paying any attention. But moving forward into the future there is a price women are about to pay for their sins and unrighteousness.

  • Many of the things you list under education is not inequality.

    Where on earth do schools prevent guys from "building things"? If shop classes have been removed from schools, then that means girls cannot enroll in them either. If girls get better grades than boys, then study harder. There are very well documented studies that show boys are less mature and more easily distracted in high school vs girls.

    Inequality of outcome (differences in grades) is not the same as inequality of opportunity. Both boys and girls are given the opportunity to go to school. What differs is that many boys don't bother to study and instead play video games all day. It doesn't apply to every single person, but there is enough disparity in the population that when you take the average grades of the two sexes, enough immature and lazy boys drag down the average, compared to their more disciplined and agreeable female counterparts.

  • In terms of education, a lot of different programs are getting cut from schools: home ec, music, art.. etc. Is it in favor of women? Maybe.. i'll give you that one I suppose. What does women getting better grades have to do with gender inequality? How is that "unfair"? That is not the fault of women. Again, what does women outnumbering men in college have to do with gender inequality? If you as a man want to go to college.. just go to college.

    The justice system treates everyone unfairly and discriminates on the basis of race, religion, gender and sexuality.

    In terms of sex and dating, I do agree that men are often times expected to pay. In terms of kinky sex, I personally think it's the other way around. When guys reveal they like kinky types of sex, it's not really a surprise becuse men are viewed as more "sexually driven" than women. However, Lord forbid a woman sleeps with more than 20 guys in her lifetime.. or is into gangbangs, or something.. she's viewed as dirty.

  • The education thing, my school has shop classes and so does many other schools. No idea where this came from, mine even has clubs relating to this. Also girls getting better grades, how tf is that gender inequality? It's up to someone and their talents what grade they get. Most guys just don't put in as much effort into schoolwork since they don't care as much. Gender inequality is when it's not fair, guys aren't being suppressed in schools, just because girls work harder doesn't make it gender inequality. The college thing also goes along with this.     Sex and dating. Guys are expected to pay for the first date, while this is true but I'm not sure if you've noticed to huge increase in women paying half the bill? Or those who are willing to pay the first date? No one really cares about the kinky sex thing. Both girls and guys are treated the same, it's really the guys who praise the girls. But just because girls don't praise back, doesn't mean it's gender inequality. You just pulled the guy masturbating idea out of your ass. It's accepted by everyone, a guy masturbates and its normal. This is actually where you are so wrong, if a girl sleeps around, everyone calls her a slut. No one cares much if a guy sleeps around.

    • This is not true though. We have oral exams here and girls get better grades even on lower performance than guys. They get more attention and help from the teachers. When I tell a teacher, who I am practically friends with, he'll still rather help the girls than me.

  • -Our IQ is just slightly higher and from what I have noticed it is men who choose to work instead of pursuing a degree because it is so expensive and difficult.
    -As a law student I can tell you that the crimes women are involved in are usually less violent, maybe partly due to us not being as physically strong.
    -If you study cases in detail you will see that a lot of the time there are reasons for why men lose custody. In the old days, it was largely prejudice, cases in the last 20 years are much more just, to a point where women have had their kids taken away for things like trying to persuade them that their ex-husband is evil.
    -I half my bill but not all women do and that cannot be denied, but you have every right to expect her to half the bill and if she doesn't perhaps consider moving onto someone else? After all, I am not locked to date only guys that expect me to cook and clean although I am sure to come across those types.
    -Definitely disagree on the masturbation point, from my experience usually it is considered normal for guys to wank.

    I think you will find situations where the favour is tilted onto either side or more or less equal. I have noticed that women, including myself, have been more eager to slut shame guys and overall act sexist because of all the pent-up anger from still experiencing sexism in our younger years.

    • In STEM men's average IQ is 3 points higher than women, which is a small difference... But if you pick just the people of IQ above 125, there will be a lot more men than women. I will let you figure out how the distributions look.

    • @IlyaTheImpaler With a little bit of Googling you'll find that most women score higher than most men on IQ test, however, highest IQ's belong to men (although women's IQ has been increasing), but also the lowest. So in other words; -The dumbest of us are probably men -The average woman is smarter than the average man -If you are a genius, I am talking Einstein type of intelligence, you are most likely a man

      From what I have seen, if you're slightly above average (and above), you're more likely a man, if you're slightly above average and study STEM, you're most likely a man. You don't need to go to the end of the spectrum to find more men.

    • @victoriaxoxo Going to the same school does not mean we receive equal education. There are more courses aimed towards girls. Courses and subjects that benefit only girls. Teachers and faculty turn towards providing girls with resources and other support while leaving the boys behind with nothing. How are boys supposed to learn when they don't receive the help they need. Schools also removed activities that benefit boys. Recess and certain sports. Boys have energy that needs to be released physically. Schools took those opportunities away. It's an all-out boy crisis.

    Education: most of the schools I know still have shop classes. My brother took shop and made some pretty awesome stuff. Girls getting better grades and there being more of us than in college... I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure that is not gender inequality? That's a personal choice that more girls than guys make.

    Justice: Yes, there are more men than women in prison... but guess what. I've seen way more men lash out in anger and hit people than I have women... I wonder if there's any relation? I don't understand your point about guys having a say in abortion. Nor do I understand the point about divorce... how does it favour women?

    Sex and Dating: okay yes guys being expected to pay is a little bit outdated, that's definitely not necessary in today's culture. Girls getting away with rape is also very not okay. But... in what I've been exposed to, male masturbation is WAY more normalized than female masturbation, and girls sleeping around are called sluts, so my experience there is much different than yours... not saying yours is wrong, just that it's maybe not the same for everyone and it might not be fair to generalize.

  • Hmmm... I think you may have missed a few (wagegap vs deathgap and hours worked, domestic abuse against men and shelter funding, male homelessness, custody, child support, etc...), but good mytake nonetheless.

    • The death gap is actually a biological thing. There's complicated biological stuff I won't get into explaining and it's actually quite interesting if you do some research. But basically, even if male and female gender roles and rights were flipped, women would still live longer

The death gap where 93% of workplace deaths are in civilian occupations are men is NOT biological, it is occupational. We work more dangerous jobs, while women sit in safe little office jobs and whine about how the air conditioning is sexist and how they wrong it is they don't make as much as men to work shorter hours in different occupations with different levels and types of education.

    • @GodHatesKaitlin Oh, and women are now starting to live much shorter lives now that they have the stresses which men are abandoning with women like making sure the bills are paid and worrying about retirement and working long hours just to not make enough to make ends meet. Sure, women still haven't caught up in workplace deaths and suicides (yet), but now that the gilded cage is trashed, they are dropping more and more like the rest of us despite of all the extra protections they enjoy.

  • It's definitely easier for women to obtain grants and scholarships for college. I'll admit, even as a man, I have certain points in my favor in terms of Grant eligibility that twentysomethings of either gender do no have (over 40, widowed). But a widowed 40-ish woman would more than likely get enough grant money so that she would not need a single loan (and if she also had kids to take care of, even more options would be available to her, though the overhead would offset most of those benefits).

    Not complaining, just pointing that out, there's a good chance those extra advantages still might not be enough in her case. But I still get the sense this is not going be a very popular post. Please don't kill me, ladies.

  • This is the same as rich people complaining about their hardships. Or girls with big boobs complaining about their problems. Or guys with a big dick complaining about their problems.
    Every group, everywhere has their own unique problems. But the problems faced by poor people, women with small boobs, guys with small dicks and the female gender are a lot worse than the problems faced by the opposing parties.
