If You Must Judge Women, Judge Them Not On Sexual HISTORY, But On Sexual PROCLIVITY

Not all women who sleep around are "sluts", just like not all guys who do favours for women are "nice".

Shaming women over past behaviour is useless and damaging.

She may have a sexual history of multiple lovers, but in the present relationship, she may have high proclivity for monogamy and loyalty. You can't infer the latter from the former.

The reverse may also be true: a virginal girl with zero sexual history, but who has a high curiosity or motivation to want to act out her promiscuous fantasies whilst having the comfort of a ''stable" relationship.

Correlation isn't causation, remember. While there may be some correlation between "high sexual history" and "proclivity for present-day promiscuity", the relationship doesn't appear to be causal in origins.

So if you must judge women (or anyone for that matter), judge who they ARE, not who they've BEEN.

And besides, the less you shame women for enjoying their sexual nature, the more likely you are to partake in it. Just sayin' ;-)

  • I went through a pace of chatting a lot with people on the internet, omegle.. IRC and teenchat... and sent a lot of nudes, even falled in love with guys and tried to meet them, people have screenshotted and shared them, I got blackmailed a lot and it got so bad police called and shit, and it was just a mess. It was from when I was 14 and a half until this year... so 1.5 years.
    My family and relatives found out and people talked about me, people on IRC called me a slut and whore and they told me I’m never getting better and that I will end up as this and that and that I should kill myself. And it made me feel so worthless and depressed, but it was addiction... I liked the attention, I’m not gonna lie. If I had friends maybe it wouldn’t have happened, cause I wouldn’t have gotten bored trying to talk with people on the internet not knowing I was getting myself in trouble.

    But guys and girls really judge me for that, even my relatives, I just imagine what they of me when they see me now. It makes me feel like I wanna die, and that people will never forget and that this is how people think I am now, this is how they look at me.
    But I have stopped...

  • The only part of this I agree with is that we shouldn't shame women for their past behavior. There is no point in it and they don't deserve to be shamed.

    However, we SHOULD judge them for. The best predictor of a person's future behavior is their past behavior. That is a well accepted fact of human nature. And when it comes to female promiscuity, men looking for a life partner are very wise to judge women for promiscuous behavior because, statistically speaking, promiscuous women are more likely to be poor mothers and wives and more likely to divorce their husbands. That is a statistical fact, and men know that instinctively. We talk about women's intuition and how women have a stronger sense of intuition that men. But on this particular topic men have a strong sense of intuition, and they should be encouraged to trust it.

  • I agree. I hate saying how many people I've slept with because men focus on the number. I always make sure to point out that for the majority, I was in a relationship with them, sometimes for years in the case of a couple of them. If I found 'the one' straight away, then I would still be with them, but unfortunately, relationships fail and I would hate to be judged on that.
