  • I'm all for sex positivity, but being on your period doesn't suddenly tighten your vagina, the hormones actually relax you more. You are also more likely to contract yeast infections around your period because of higher pH levels, so make sure you maintain good hygiene (but not too much, like don't use chemical wipes etc, they can get rid of the good bacteria).

    Also worth saying sex on period is a preference, if you're into it cool, if not, cool.

    If you have hang ups about periods being gross or disgusting then it might be a good idea to do some reading and get educated a bit more, but if you just genuinely aren't comfortable doing it that's fine. Whatever floats your boat.

  • Psa. Not all women want sex on their period. It doesn't help everyone with cramps. Any vaginal tightness means she isn't that into it. If her vagina isn't literally sucking you in she isn't that turned on.

    • I did not say all women wanted period sex. Also your argument is flawed because there are exceptions to everything in the world. At a certain point "all" must mean "most" or a general term for a vast majority of people.

  • Younger me would definitely have said no to period sex but now that I’m a bit older I must admit that I get super horny during that time (in-fact I can tell my period is going to start by how horny I get). Most men are against it but I’ve met a few that don’t mind it at all. We just jump in the shower and we both get full satisfaction. And yes it helps with the cramps.
