So i am on the sixth day of an actual research and investigating female groin\genital pain compared to male groin\genital.
Don't worry, me and a guy are leading this project, so there will be no bias. And we are not taking anything from here - https://www.reddit.com/r/SelfDefense/comments/agz07u/it_really_truly_does_hurt_women_to_be_struck_in/
Ours is separate project, with actual graphs. Besides, although this guy had some pretty solid points, some were questionable. We will not let that happen.
We are going to be and we already are, so thorough, that you won't be even able to ask us a question. Extensive data finding, gathering and compiling is happening. And excessive double-checking is bein done!
And while at it, and while talking to people 'bout various subjects about gender similarities or differences, anatomy, tricks, etc, i realized - "O My God! Am i becoming a doctor?" Then i realised, i am already thinking about the Med. School. And there is not a single doctor in my family! I am not sure... should i be excited! Or worried? I am prepared but... can i take it?
Sure i can! But will i?
Who would guess, that a subject so weird, so taboo, could lead to something good (at least for me) and unique research on the topic.
Which also made us notice and find out about various, curious facts. For example:
I found out that, here in Bulgaria, 'a woman kicked in groin' is not a thing. It does not exist...
Its not talked about, no one writes about it. Its not taboo, but rather like a world in which it just doesn't exist as a thing. No news, no stories, no videos, no fun jokes, no knowledge.
And most shockingly - nothing in medical reports and its not taught to doctors, what problem it may cause and they are not taught how to adequately treat vulvar traumas.
It is only written about it in some old medical archives in the Med. Academy, here in Sofia - the capital of Bulgaria. And then it hit me - Archives!? Like, how old?
In my country, many girls are UNAWARE of their sensitivity down there. Sexual education is bad. There is only one private school in the city of Gabrovo, where at 6th grade, they actually teach 'em some sex education and even call medical personnel - one male and one female - each dragging the children (few at once) of their own gender aside and explain them things. THIS IS AMAZING! And why is only a single case?
Its confusing for me, how bad American education can be, up to highest grades, but then at universities and med. schools, they are so thorough, professional, keeping in mind details and having incredible data in both quality and quantity. THIS IS AMAZING! As compared to Bulgaria.... Where i am being told, once you are done with school, University is not much of a next level, it still feels like a school, but only like a next grade.
What do i hope to achieve with this project and researches?
I guess they didn't had (till now) a student, entering with such unprecedented project, who worked on a topic, they think there is nothing else to be said. Oh there is. And a lot!
What i also found, that the myth - women tolerate pain better - is just that. A myth. It is not true. There is no resilience or advantage preparing us for childbirth, ladies.
And despite popular belief, we have found (so far) that the female groin has approx. 50 to 55% more nerve endings than in the male one! AMAZING!
"But why?" - i wondered. Until i kept searching, learning and found out - its just how it is.
Females are more innervated, with greater nerve density is present in us. Then i saw, that most researches and studies point out from 75% to 100% more nerve fibers per square centimeter of facial skin. THIS IS AMAZING!
Which made me ask the question:
If women, with the more delicate skin on their fingers and more (sensitive) nerve endings, could FIND and TELL, differences and details in an object, which men may not be able to. For instance - a metallic or plastic part is manufactured, which needs to have specific turns or angles, sharpness, smoothness/flatness, etc. Could it be that (we) women could find and catch details and deviations, which men could not? About to be tested, i swear to God!
Disclaimers:
Currently, we are not making up data for our project. We have little database of our own and the rest is just... compiling they already existing one, but we are en route to gather our own data.
And i would like to say, that in - Did you know? Part 3 (fixed) - i might have been wrong about nerve endings in both gender's groin.
Make no mistake - i am still right about the part, that females have them more! But i might have been wrong about the numbers\amount. And i am not that prideful, not to address it.
Curious facts:
Despite all the studies done, all the medical expertise, to this day there is no officially stated (medically confirmed) number for the amount of nerve endings to the 'balls'. Best and the closest we've found was - Thousands.
Okay, but define thousands! Is it 1500 each? 6000 both?
There are officially stated numbers for penis, for clitoris, for the vulva, but not for -
We've looking over DOZENS of articles. If some reader thinks can come again and post us deceitful numbers from any random sites, i tell you now - we are not buying it.
You can't possibly randomly type few keywords into Google and find the secret which we could not! That's not how it works.
So you don't know the accurate number? - At this moment, No, we don't.
What do you know then? - Well, what we DO know, is how many they are NOT!
Multiple times, medical personnel have confirmed, that there is no other body part as the clitoris, with such incredible concentration of nerve endings - nothing else in the human body, male or female, comes even close to this number 8000+ .
After consulting it with two doctors ourselves, it is safe to say, that this claim is true.
Now the question (which we will investigate) is - Does testicles' (both!) total amount of nerve endings is a higher number, than that of clitoris'?
- Possible, but only that much. It could go either way.
Without further walls of text i will get to:
Investigating the eternal question - Which Hurts More?
Taken right out of our project -
Response from: Проф. Д-р Явор Енчев - a neurologist and neurosurgeon.
"Dear Niya.
Regarding the question asked, it seems that the A-Delta fibres, produce pain more "immediate", more suddenly and intensely as compared to the C-Fibres. So this could contribute to why the amount of pain the clitoris produces, due blow/trauma, seemingly compares to the one, a person with testicles may experience. If we could have measured, it would have been questionable and rather baffling result.
C-fibres in the testicles explain the longer-lasting pain effect in males and may be contributing for the longer (average) time for a male, to get up, after a blow received, compared to a female.
However, there are still thousands of C-fibres (unmyelinated fibres) in the clitoris, which due certain circumstances, may contribute for longer incapacitation time, for the female. "
Graph? Okay
Warning!!!
Trolls, newly registered or suspicious Xper1 and their comments will be taken care of.
People who are here to ridicule, despite acknowledging they don't know and can't do any better, will not be taken seriously either.
People who do not like the idea that the pain could be as severe for both genders and rather live in their own world, favoring one gender over another, nag and ask for their 'friends' to come and abuse me, will be screenshooted and reported.
Fellows who are actually interested - i will appreciate if you write down certain important questions, which you feel that should be addressed and researched, and then answered. Anything which could help and increase the project's credibility, it's accuracy and transparency, professionalism, etc. People who simply disagree - simply block me and move on.
As for me - i don't know if i will ever write long MyTakes, ever again. Its not like i can make much/big difference with them, do i? I certainly may publish this research, once it is finished, but it will take time. Like... a lot... of time.
If anything, it helps me learn and understand more about human anatomy, even before i apply for the Med. School.
Why/How i became so interested in this topic? - I have no idea!
