More importantly why are women shamed for HAVING big boobs? I had a friend who had DDs by the time we were in 8th grade and everyone called her a slut and a whore even though she'd never even had her first kiss, they made assumptions about her because of something she could not control. She was bullied so badly she would wrap bandages around her chest to try to hide the size of her breasts. It made her hate herself and guys treated her with less respect than they treated me just because of the size of her boobs. Even other girls started to believe all the rumors boys spread about her and she was known as the school slut. She dropped out of high school later because she couldn't take the bullying and I wish people wouldn't obsess over boobs so much. There were also boys who called themselves the "itty bitty titty committee" because they preferred small boobs and they had a list of girls (me included) who they would basically stalk and take pictures of without asking. It made me uncomfortable just going to school until finally the principal found out and tried to put an end to our harassment. Basically you can sell breasts in our society but you can't have them and be left in peace no matter what size :/

I think the only people fighting over this anymore are insecure dudes who think they need to appease other people's sense of offense, and those that are offended to begin with.

I can't blame a guy for liking big breasts. A deep instinct for men and women both is the subconscious desire to "mate" with people who show signs of fertility. You may think he is a pervert who likes big boobs for motorboating (lol) but he is subconsciously drawn to them in the same way he is drawn to larger hips or long hair, good teeth, whatever. Men want (on a level they don't recognize) a woman who looks like she will be a good, strong mother to his kid. Big boobs equal healthy feeding for his infant. For women, we may be drawn to taller, or muscular, or deep voiced as these subconsciously mean stronger genes to ensure our babies will thrive.

As much as people deny it, our desire for the ideal mate is fueled by things we don't fully recognize. Sex is fun, sex us recreational, but let's not forget that sex is still the way the human race survives. Our preferences are based on that one often forgotten fact.

I am not a fan of large boobs, I prefer smaller ones but I have read that men are biologically attracted to large breasts and wide hips on a woman as these body traits indicate fertility much in the same way women will prefer tall men over shorter men for biological reasons.

I have found that it does not matter what your preferences are someone, somewhere will always object to them.

Now personally, I didn't really find any of these attractive. But that's a preference. I have them. You have them. Women have them.

We should be allowed to have them.

To me, when it comes to things like fat acceptance and such, it's a matter of not being assholes to people just because you don't find them attractive, or find them physically repulsive, especially in ways that aren't even related.

I've heard Michelle Obama called "fat". Even if she WAS, what did it matter to you? Did you plan on dating her?

But what I have a problem with is the idea that we SHOULD be attracted to X body type or Y breast size, and that we aren't because of "social brainwashing" of some sort.

So two things:
-You aren't entitled to having people attracted to you.
-Even if people don't find you attractive, that shouldn't curb your pay or merit ridicule.

Actually, everyone is shamed for liking things that the people doing the shaming either don't have, or have decided shouldn't matter.

Women absolutely get shamed for liking muscles, or height, or success, or charm. Men get shamed for liking anything physical, or caring about sex as well as emotions.

And it goes beyond sex and dating too.

Basically any time you don't do what people want, if they can get you to do it via shame/guilt, expect them to do so. And if it works, they will use that level all the time.
