Okay I had to read your update before starting some rant. At first I didn't but as I got older I didn't care, but I still like my privacy. I've accepted myself and don't mind, learn to love yourself and you won't feel so awkward, weird, bad or anything negative.
I've walked through the house naked till I was 17 or 18. Just going to the bathroom at night or getting something from the kitchen. My family saw me. No big deal.

Heck no! That would be really really awkward. I'd freak out if anyone in my family saw me bare ass naked.
If I was a naturist or a nudist I would be totally fine with that. That's how those people live. It's their culture. But since I am not a naturist or a nudist I would not be okay being naked around any of my family members.
Maybe in a nudist family that would be ok, but in regular families in America that's probably pretty unusual.

Now I live alone but earlier when living with family, I used to stay nude in my room and later found courage to come out of room only when mom, sister or brother were there: never in front of dad.
