Smiling and acting goofy during sex= a bad sign?

so my bf often acts really happy/goofy during sex when we have more time to enjoy it, like i'll look at him and he'll give me this almost giddy smile before kissing me and pulling me closer. He's also always asking even in the middle of the session if I like what he's doing, attentive to noises I make to make sure he doesn't hurt me, etc. I was reading at thread on reddit though and it said that if a guy does those things, it's a bad sign because if he was really into what he was doing he would go 'straight for the finish'? that seems sort of counter intuitive to me because i love sex and also get giddy/make sure my guy is loving what i do. what's your opinion on that?

¤ first he is a super happy man and he wants to keep that attitude even during sex and he just being himself

¤ or you are just boring during sex and your partner is just trying to make himself and make you happy and to avoid that cloud of Borden
