Is manual sex (handjob/fingering) considered sexual intercourse?

Where do you draw the line with these things?

  • In my understanding - sexual intercourse/sex is the actual act of "doing it" - penis in vagina. Anything outside of insertion is either oral sex/foreplay (petting). What people enjoy the most is the actual act of getting to sex, because sex (insertion) only lasts a few seconds to minutes until the guy ejaculates. So yeah. I hope I answered your question.
    Sex - insertion
    Oral - bj's/cunninglus
    Foreplay - handjob, groping, fingering, etc.

  • I personally want to wait until marriage for this kind of stuff. I believe being seen naked, foreplay, masturbation, and normal intercourse all go under the same category. If you want to find the simplest way to put it sexual intercourse in dictionaries is defined as genital contact whether its finger on genital or genital on genital it is defined under intercourse.

    • You retard

    • Hey dumbass, the entire point of this website is to give opinions, I gave my personal opinion and you can deal with it. If you don't believe what I wrote, look it up. ShutupandJive, at least I know how to spell. "You are retarded."

  • Handjobs as well as rubbing the clitoris are considered sexual outercourse. Fingering (as in sticking fingers / a finger inside the vagina) is considered intercourse. Blowjobs are intercourse too, as is anal sex.

    It's pretty easy...

    INTERcourse = inside.
    OUTERcourse = outside.

    • I think that's the best answer to this question yet!

    • Thanks, I hope I helped a bit. =)

    • Maybe this helps too:
      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_intercourse

      "Other forms of penetrative sexual intercourse include penetration of the anus by the penis (anal sex), penetration of the mouth by the penis or oral penetration of the vulva or vagina (oral sex), sexual penetration by the fingers (fingering), and penetration by use of a strap-on dildo."

  • Intercourse means genital penetration occurs.

    But I am sure there are grey areas depending on particular situations. I highly doubt lifelong lesbians that never had sex with men call themselves "virgins"... though technically they could if they so desired.

  • A handjob is not intercourse, as there is no vaginal contact, or insertion.
    Fingering could be considered intercourse by some. but I only consider penile insertion to be intercourse.

  • Intercourse is when the penis is in the vagina. Not fingers. Not toys. Not anything else.

  • No until his dick is in your vagina its not sex

  • No its foreplay Penis inside your vagina is then intercourse

  • I would say no:P

  • No, those things wouldn't be considered intercourse. Intercourse is penis-in-vagina or penis-in-anus.

  • Err nope... no penetration=no intercourse
    can be considered as masturbation or part of foreplay

  • Medically NOT. Otherwise, perhaps YES.

  • intaercourse is peetration with penis.
    anything else is a subsitute or foreplay.

  • No... Lol you aren't over 18 are ya?

    • Haha, I am. 19. Just wondering because of all the blurred lines with regards to people who say they are sexually intimate or not etc. Or the justifying of virginity.

  • Nope. It's only intercourse if he actually uses his penis, not just his fingers
