Who agrees that black women would be the most prettiest women if they all had natural Afros?

I think that our society makes black women think that they're not beautiful. Black women are criticized on many level and it's really bad. Black women feel that black men don't love them but that's because they don't love themselves. They often hate their caracteristics and aim at being like the white women. I think black women don't know how beautiful they are and that's what the white people want. To them it's less competition. Black women wear wigs and uses different things to look white. For me as a man, that's a turn off. It's just like Asian women deciding to where dreads. Could you guys imaging that. For me the most prettiest women are the black women with their natural hair. Expecially the really dark black women with kinky afro look very gorgeous. If a black women is not that pretty, when she wears an afro she becomes extremely gorgeous. If you don't believe check that out on Internet. I'm not very attracted to B/W because I don't see to many of that. Black should learn to love them self before wanting love from black men. Because for everyone, a attractive person is someone who love them self. Black women excuse is that the black hair is hard to care for. But every thing that is difficult to have in good shape is always beautiful!!!

  • I think there's a lot about black women that would be vastly more attractive if there wasn't such a push towards things like MTV and ghetto culture. Just look at black men and women in the UK, classing it up. I feel like black Americans are pressured to act like this, lest they be called "oreos" by other black people (black on the outside, white on the inside). And I think that's one of the things that makes racism so hard to shake in the country, when there's such a strong stereotype of "acting black", which is only further reinforced.

I have several friends who aren't trying to be "hood", and are just normally participating in our engineering and math classes. And notice, the moment a black guy opens his mouth with an articulate British accent, or similar, the race problem just vanishes. Like, who even cares or notices that Neil Degrasse Tyson is black? How big of a deal is Morgan Freeman's race?

It's not a race thing, it's a behavior thing. For instance, people don't give "rednecks" a hard time because they are white, but because they are rednecks.

  • I don't agree they are the most beautiful, maybe some can be among the most beautiful. I very much agree that natural hair styles are much more preferable and attractive. The over processed hair, wigs and blonde dye jobs are just too ridiculous and fake. Would rather see natural or some type of style, that goes for any woman's natural hair not just black women.

  • No black woman is trying to be white, unless she seriously has identity issues. We all have our own individual preference in style. Straight, kinky, curly hair or even contacts it does not matter. For someone that loves black women in their natural state, I'd appreciate it if you also respected or choices in style and love us fpr who we are. Remember, we are not here to pay tribute to anyone's ideal, but our own.

    • That's not true most of them don't like their self that's why they use bleches and wear wigs.

    • You don't know black women.

  • This is a silly generalisation.
Please note, black women exist outside of the US and the western world in general. You haven't really accounted for the rest of us, when you came to your conclusion. We do not all identify with your assertion.
I agree with you, that natural hair looks beautiful and adds a lot to a woman.
I just like curly hair in general, on all races of men and women :)

  • Yes. But not just afros. Curly hair, locs, braids. It's all beautiful.

  • Well, I don't wear weave. Hate it. But i don't see me with an afro either lol. Thanks for making us feel more beautiful though :D

  • Thank you for saying that. It means a lot to me personally. But unfortunately many others don't think that. :(

    • Yes so stop the wigs and grow natural hair!

  • Okay that's not true. Black women don't hate themselves.

But they are judged harder for being themselves.

If I even tried wearing an afro, I'd have people turing me down for jobs left and right or looks on the street as if I was crazy from the same white "allies" and black dudes who apprentally want us to go "all natural". You guys don't actually want to see us be ourselves, you just say it to make yourselves feel better for alienating us. Because if you did then girls wearing thick afros on instagram would be at the top of the charts instead of the girls perming the **** out their hair and wearing wigs. If you guys did want us to be ourselves then normal darker skin girls (and I'm talking dark brown girls not interracial) would be the good leads in the movies, and not always the nagging mother or villan who is always show in a negative light. Lastly if you guys did want us to be ourselves, then young black girls like myself wouldn't have to get on the internet everyday and be embarrassed by the same black dudes (the ones who call us ghetto and ugly trash not worth the bottom of the side walk) about apperantly "hating" themselves when it's those same dudes who are simping over the european looking, size zero, light chocolate black girl, who doesn't look black at all, with straight hair.

You say we "hate" ourselves, but that's just not true. Black women wouldn't be dressing in these ways you call "unnatural" if the sad reality wasn't that we are only treated BETTER when we aren't being ourselves and blending in.

  • "Black women are criticized on many levels and it's really bad."

Immediately begins criticizing the shit out of black women the rest of the question.

  • There are attractive black women with different hair types.

  • Me personally, I hate Afros. And I'm not a huge fan of really dark skin, either. So... no.

    • Yes sure because of society!

    • Because of preference lol.

    • If you're not a fan then why answer this question. Your comment was completely unnecessary.

  • It's nice that you love black women with natural hair because not a lot of men do. I like afros on women they're are so pretty with them.
But the afro isn't really my thing.

    • False! it's black women their self who are to lazy to take care of themself.

    • Where did this whole lazy thing come from? I just said the afro wasn't really for me.

  • I agree. I stopped getting owns around 2012 and have been natural every since. Best decision in my life. Never again to the American standard of beauty.

  • @lordAlex818 Adriana Lima is not black. LOL.

  • I like box braids, havana twists (I love this hair style) on black women more than afro hair.

But I agree black women are so beautiful, blacks have really good genes.
    F*ck that American (dirtiest) media.

  • I'm black but my hair is naturally wavy, so it's not even possible for me to have an Afro

    • Don't matter grow your natural hair long and beautiful!
