    Simple. It's time to look at biology. Firstly, when is the male at the peak of his age? Easy! During the early 20's. That's when the testosterone levels (amogn some hormones) are highest, which obviously affects his sex drive.
    Our bodies are still in the stone age, so our bodies are stuck on more primal mating habits. One of them is that you shuld secure offspring. Hell, it's only the lataest 100-200 years we could expect to pass 40 or even 50. Therefore the male mind is made so he's able to produce offspring often. The side effect is a considerable libido, especially when exposed to the subject of sex.

    Now, let's skip forward to present day. Look at commercials, adds... how many of them play at sex? That's right, we're exposed to it all the time. And that triggers those more primal instincts in males.

The main one I think is because so few women make for good long term partners for any given male, but casual sex is fun and easy. I don't think the attitude towards casual sex is any different between either of the two genders.

The Designer also redesigned women to be fertile more time during the year than the "heats" of other creatures. Especially when young, we are addicts. It takes the civilizing regulation of sexuality by women (saying No) and the obligation to the raising and protection of mothers and children by men to limit this. That's how it has worked for 10,000 years except for brief interludes in high civilization like Babylon, Greece, Rome and now. Women playing indiscriminately into men's sexual rhythms are undermining society even as I speak. So flame me.
