Help please! During sex, my penis gets stuck/wedged inside my gf's vagina and I can't remove it until I have either ejaculated or lost my erection?

Ok, so this is happening as much as 75% of the time we are having sex. It didn't happen the first time we slept together, but on the second time it did. We went to change position and realised it was stuck or 'wedged' even, inside her vagina. This was an extremely scary experience the first time it happened and we were both shocked and shaken from it but have since come to live with it happening when we have sex. When it happens we can carry on having intercourse and it feels fine but trying to remove my penis is impossible and causes discomfort for both of us when I try and forcefully pull it out so we just carry on in the same position as it prevents us from being able to change positions. In order to remove my penis I HAVE to lose my erection. This can easily be accomplished by ejaculating but even after that it still takes a minute or two to loosen up which can be incredibly frustrating for us both. This certainly isn't ideal at all since we were once disturbed while having sex and were unable to stop or remove my penis which led to a very embarrassing situation. My girlfriend says it feels better when it locks in place and she prefers it since she feels more 'full' but I personally can't say that I really notice a difference in feel. Bottom line, I would much rather not have to worry about having this problem though. Neither of us have had this before and we can't find anything online to help us. She is 5'1 and her vagina is rather tight. I am 5'10, average length but above average in girth. Is this likely the issue behind it? Why is this happening? How can I prevent or minimise this? Has anyone else got experience with this?

Have you tried using some lube? It works great and you both will love it. Does it happen everytime you have sex? How often do you have sex? By that I wonder if she is not use to you inside her. Has this happened to any previous bfs of her or any gfs of yiurs? Your thoughts?

We use lube because she's tight to begin with, like I need lube to get in otherwise it's painful for her even if she's quite wet. I said she's 5'1 but she's actually 4'11.5 so I'm convinced this is the reason, she's just small. We're having sex about 4-5 times in a 7 day week, and it happens most of the time, maybe 75% of the time. This hasn't happened to either of us in previous relationships. In fact the only time it doesn't really happen is when I'm not that turned on or if we have sex more than once in a day. Perhaps a small, tight vagina & a blood engorged penis don't mix? Still don't understand why it would be getting stuck though. Like once in, the head is too big to exit her vagina opening...
