How many of you men think that blue balls are worse than rape?

A user on here told me that blue balls are worse than rape and insinuated the only reason women don't get convicted for "blue balling" and instead the man is convicted for rape is because the court always favors the woman. I'm hoping that this opinion is one in a million. Its almost like saying the person who said a yo mama joke and got beat up should go to jail for tempting the person who beat them up, except a joke like that is said with intention to bother someone. Kissing or doing anything that arouses a guy is rarely done with bad intent and lets face it some guys can get blue balls just from seeing a girl.

  • I've never had blue balls... So, I can't comment on what it's like. So, I would imagine that being raped is worse since that's something out of your control.. Something that is forced upon you, while blue balls are in your control. The only time I would say "rape" isn't as bad would be statutory rape. So, "rape" where there is consensual sex but one party isn't at the age of consent in the jurisdiction where they had sex at, therefore, classifying it as rape, even though I'd imagine that the person that was "raped" was more than happy to have had sex.

    But speaking generally... I would imagine rape is worse than having blue balls.

  • It's very obvious to any normal human being that rape is worse than blue balls. Don't worry, that opinion IS one in a million.

    I don't think it's idiotic for a girl to be a tease, and a girl that doesn't have the intention of having sex shouldn't act like she does, but that obviously is not even on the same wavelength as rape. Like, those are two completely different topics. That's not comparing apples to oranges, that's comparing apples to potato chips.

  • Obviously the person who said that has never been raped. Granted, I am a girl, so I concede that I haven't had blue balls and therefore can't really offer a true comparison. But there are things guys can do to relieve the tension. I'd say he said that out if sexual frustration, because no level headed person would think that way.

  • Well this is the most easiest question ever that it shouldn't even get considered. While the first is a natural pain that can be fixed and there is no trauma to it, the other is such a horrible experience done against your will that not only leaves you with the physical memory of what happened but emotional pain to the point that therapy might be needed.

    Guys can get raped by other men too (and in isolated cases by women as well too) and traumatic as well too. Why is blue balls even compared to being raped? No one deserves to get raped and is something done against the person's will.
