What's wrong with guys wearing nail polish? Do you like it?

I started wearing nail polish like a week ago. I only have two bottles atm, ORLY white tips and ORLY glowstick which is like a really bright neon yellow. Now what I can't seem to understand is why a lot of people seem to have a problem with men painting their nails. And I really can't see why those same idiots would associate nail polish with sexuality (they seem to think it's something only gay men do?) I mean some members of my family couldn't get their heads round why a man would paint their nails. And I just said 'because I like the way it looks, what does me having a penis have to do with the colour of my nails?' So basically I'm asking for one good logical reason why people have such prejudices. I know nobody will be able to provide one, I just want to see you try haha.

Im a straight male who crossdresses from time to time. I mainly like wearing lace pink thongs. I also like full on crossdressing. I have been full on crossdressing a lot more often lately. I wear panties, bras, skirts, dresses, booty shorts, yoga pants, heels, sometimes wigs if I have the chance, make up like mascara, cover up, eye liner, lipstick which is my favorite to put on, and nail polish. My favorite nail polish is sparkle hot pink, I also like hot pink, regular pink, red, silver sparkle, and purple. I currently just have a hot pink vile of nail polish I always have my toe nails painted.

it's a little weird but I wouldn't think your gay for doing it. I mean I bought this polish to put on my nails to stop biting them and used it for like a week, my nails looked nicer actually. I used to be just like your 'average guy' and if you told me i would be wearing nail polish I woukd have laughed in your face. Nothing wrong with it. For whatever reason, society seems to have decided that makeup and anything similar is feminine. Thus, guys who wear it must be gay, because only gay men do feminine things. It's just silly societal gender roles. There's no logical reason for it, just people's biases that were put in place by societal standards. In my opinion, guys who wear nail polish or makeup or anything like that are cool, because they obviously don't care that much about societal gender roles, which I very much approve of.

I agree with you to an extent. Gender is primarily a social construct, and certainly I don't like gender roles. But gender in and of itself I don't really have a problem with. there is some amount of biology involved, as evidenced by transgender people (who generally have differently structured brains) so there must be something there. But I don't think people should be forced to identify a certain way and act a certain way just based on their sex. Silliness.

Meh I used to kinda like eyeliner, but with mascara AND eyeliner i just think it's a bit too much on the eyes and makes it look overly dark around the eyes. I much prefer just a nice bit of mascara to bring my lashes out more (even though i already have really thick/long lashes haha). Well yea i did:)) we all like to look pretty. I suggest u leave the mascara and just stick to eyeliner. I find it hot when guys wear eyeliner, they look cute with them, but not too much. You already have long eyelashes, so no more mascara. My eyelashes are pretty long too that people think i wear mascara all the time, but i dont. Eyeliner is my all time favourite makeup... i dont even wear concealer... its annoying... i have good skin anyways so.. yea :)

I actually get something called HD brows, which is like a 7 step process involving waxing, tweezing, threading and a few other steps. Kinda expensive but TOTALLY worth it :D So yeah you probably wouldn't like my eyebrows on me since i'm a guy, but you'd be sooooo jealous of them coz i have REALLY thick natural brows (like slugs haha) so i can basically turn them into PERFECT eyebrows with this process haha.
