Do girls get horny when they're sad and emotional?

Like when some girls cry they seam to crave intimacy and physical interaction. I've seen this notion predominantly displayed in movies, tv shows etc. So im just wondering how true is this in the real world? For example In the film "Wedding Crashers" they exploited this notion of women being more sexual during a funeral. I think it has to do with them being fragile, susceptible and them seeking comfort but what i dont understand why that goes as far as sex. Well im not too sure so if someone could clarify it for me id be pleased, thank you :). Yes, when I'm sad that's the moment I need loooooooooots of intimacy.
We get more emotional, and when my boyfriend is trying to cheer me up by hugging, kissing (aka. a lot of physical interaction) I Inmediately want to throw him to the bed and do him. X)

Yeah if I get sad or am watching a scary movie I get an urge to have sex. I think my boyfriend has picked up on it haha, not complaining.

I have no idea. The other night we were watching 'I am legend' and I got really upset and I was like 'hold me' and then I just wanted sex. I don't know if it's because I like the closeness and feeling, not sure.
