I don't know why that positon is called inverted missionary. Like there isn't anything missionary about it. It's really like cowgirl, but the woman leaning forward instead of upright. I believe inverted missionary should be more like amazon position, where it's the man on his back, the woman straddles him and puts him inside her. then when he's insider she's brings her legs together and his apart so she's in between his legs. She's not all the way lying on his chest as that wouldn't provide too much movement. But her body off him a little bit and thrusting.

Most of the time when we start off doing cowgirl, as the tempo builds up and I thrust harder she lays forward on me as she finds it difficult to keep upright as the feelings become more intense, so we end up in reverse missionary quite often.
