I've been dating this guy for about 5 months now. We're not serious yet but we're only exclusively seeing each other. He's had a rough past relationship so we're taking it slow. About a month ago during (condom less but I'm on birth control and take it religiously) sex I told him to come inside me because I thought it'd be a turn on but he quickly pulled out and came on me instead and went on about how he doesn't want kids and a whole bunch of other stuff. Well about a week ago he asked me what I would do if he came inside me and I told him I wouldn't mind and that I've wanted him to try it. Everytime we've had sex now he comes inside me. I was just curious as to how and why his mind changed so drastically. He was so adamant that he refused to do it. Does this correlate with his feelings about me? Is he growing trust or could this mean he could see a serious future?

Simply put he trusts you. Believe it or not there are women out there who lie about being on birth control (happened to me once, thankfully she was just horny). While it is a sign of trust and a good thing it doesn't by itself mean that he automatically wants to spend the rest of his life with you or he doesn't. It simply means he trusts you. He changed his mind because at first his go to response was to pull out in case the woman is lying. Then he thought about it and decided yes he does trust you and does want to cum inside you.

If in the future you do want children I would ask him how serious he was about not wanting children (most guys mean they don't want kids right now, but some don't ever).

I'm confused. You asked him to cum inside you. Then he wants to cum inside you. That he was reluctant seems to me to mean that he wasn't fully informed that BC works. In response to your update: I'm sure you've heard it before. But some guys will cum in a girl, and run the other direction when they hear she's pregnant. That shows no clear indication of his commitment level to you.
It could BE the case, but don't assume this action alone makes things that way.

A person that is a good sex partner will take into account what their partner wants.

Can't say for sure without knowing him but if he hasn't taken the initiate to actually make things official which says that you are so important that he doesn't want anyone else... then he's probably just enjoying the sensation. why so drastically? well I don't think it really matters why it was so sudden. maybe he literally came to the realization that its okay because you take birth control seriously and if something bad were to happen then there is plan B and other options you two can consider.
