Are there any American movies that actually show exposed vagina?

Not to be a perv or anything but I can't think of a single movie that shows an uncensored vagina. I see plenty of tits (but those aren't genitals) and I see dicks and balls to a lesser extent. However when it comes to vagina, I've never seen actual vulva or vagina, only the cliche triangular carpet of hair in movies. Is there some sort of unfair gender law against showing female genitalia in movies.

MOVIES not porn. I've never seen an uncensored vagina in a MOVIE, like not even on a newborn baby. I've seen plenty on males in movies from infant to adult. I just find it strange and want to know if there is some sort of biased law against it in Hollywood.

  • It was not even real pubic hair. 99% that FFN (FEMALE FRONTAL NUDITY) is shown they shoot in very low light & then cover their vulva with what is called a merkin (fake pubic hair) it's worn like a bikini. As the previous commenter said mostly due to ratings. However I do agree its a bit unfair especially when it seems to be perfectly ok to show male genitalia & not female. You have a lot of females & feminists arguing that they show more female nudity vs. male, but this simply isn't true. Why do I say this? Because comparing female breasts to male penises (or is it peni), that is like comparing apples to oranges. It is not the same thing.

Especially considering that a lot of females & feminists are actively protesting that women's breasts shouldn't be sexualized & women should be able to walk around topless or breastfeed in public. While at the same exact time, Complaining that they always show women nude far more than men, again apples to again apples to oranges, when it should be apples to apples. If women's breasts aren't sexual then when they show men's genitalia without an NC - 17 Rating then it should be ok to show female vulva without low light and without a merkin. However how many female celebs are willing to bare all? Very very few I can assure you unless they are paid $$ very well. Halle Berry was paid 2 million dollars per breast in swordfish.

Not to mention female celebs who claim to do a nude scene and find out later it was a body double or it had been digitally added and these are just the boob scenes. I can think right now at least 25 male actors who've shown their man bits. I'm not going to list them just do a quick google search & you can easily see just how many male celebs have shown their danglers.

Even on primetime t. v. they can show a male butt, but not a female. They can show a man in tight underwear which can easily see the imprint or outline of his cack & balls, but cannot show a female camel toe they can't even show a nipple. Now I'm not with the idea that they shouldn't show either, but with all this so called equality, it doesn't really seem equal to me. If a penis is allowed to be shown on film without any severe rating penalty then neither should a woman's vulva. Or they both receive the same rating.

I really could go into the politics of 3rd wave feminists movement and the double standards on nudity and biology but I won't. Suffice to say is if we really want equality this is just another facet where it doesn't seem so

    • Totally agree with you on this totally unfair double standards

  • It's pretty simple:

Any movie that shows an erect penis or a vulva are automatically rated NC-17. Many theaters refuse to show NC-17 movies outright, and those that do generally find that they make far less money because far fewer people will go see them. This is even true of very mild NC-17 movies, such as Eyes Wide Shut, which also had big stars (Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman) and was director Stanley Kubrick's last movie - the movie made relatively little money in the theaters.

Movie studios have to front the many millions of dollars that it costs to make the average movie, and so they need the movie to make a profit. Many movies don't make a profit still, but that's always the goal, because these are businesses that are looking to survive to be around next year and the year after that. A studio that has several big losses in a row risks bankruptcy and being bought-out (for pennies) by a rival studio.

So there is tremendous pressure on movies in the US to not exceed an R rating, because R-rated movies still make tons of money. NC-17s, as a rule, have very little earning power.

    • And that is understandable but I'm not asking about a woman with her legs spread wide open soaked with baby oil. I'm just saying a simple exposed vulva. Like for example in Harold in Kumar 2. That man had a "bottomless party" but every single woman. 100% of every single woman at the party had extremely thick hair covering it. It was so thick that it looked fake. However you see movies like Scary Movie one and 2 and Let's Be Cops and Jackass that show dicks religiously.

    • You are right in your question.. forgive me for my bad English. l'm Italian.. but my sister works for youtube censorship now and for MPAA before... and I asked her the same question... why there are tons of videos on youtube that contains male nudity and penis es... gays videos. .. and very very little of vaginas and female nudity.. and none a vagina on American movies.. she answered me... on youtube... women and girls don't like female nudity... so big number flag it.. and in a short time it will be taken down.. also most of censorship teams are females... so they take down any videos that contain female nudity without any reasons... and they keep videos that contains male nudity any penises.. to be available to the other females to watch them... also feminists and gays make some pressure to keep this.. and because no one notice or protest.. they will continue... in MPAA... people in USA got used to see penises.. so it become normal to show.. and on youtube and MPAA they have some instructions to do this... when she got her job in youtube censorship. Her boss told her that " keep male nudity and take down female nudity as could as possible. .. that were the orders... also some lobbyists of fiminists and gays make some pressure on Hollywood companies to do that...

    • @Sapphirein As I sad, you can show penises, just not ERECT penises. You can show female pubic hair, just not vulvas. The idea being that nudity in and of itself isn't inherently sexual, but you aren't likely to be shown an erection or a vulva without the obvious intention of it being sexually arousing, and THAT they consider porn.

  • Sunce you are a childish person, and block people who are smarter than you and giving explanations. I'll explain my opinion here.

-I didn't put words in your mouth offended man. You didn't talk about erected penises. I did. I brought them to the conversation. Why? You wanted an explanation why women's fully exposed vaginas are never shown in movies. Here are the reasons
-it is very sexual view, just like erected penis that is also never shown in movies. Only flaccid penis. Being wet isn't exactly the same in my opinion.
-that would be very weird, unneccessary and uncomfortable angle of view
    - there isn't really need in movies to show that because sexuality is shown in different ways. The sounds, the expressions etc. Those are way more important things to show.

Grow up, and accept the fact pther people disagree with you

    • I don't mind you disagreeing with me but you are putting words in my mouth and you know it. You were also rude to me from the very beginning. So to put this all on me as if I'm some childish/easily offended person is not helping your case at all. And again you are putting words in my mouth. I never implied that the camera should be aimed right up in her snatch. I can quite easily see a vulva from a normal frontal angle. Not to mention if you've seen movies like "Let's Be Cops" there is a close up view of a man's genitals from a back/bottom angle right on a guy's chin. What's the excuse for that?

    • Just like your "block people because they are smarter than you" I blocked you because you were being a bitch. Try reading through the comments again. I wasn't rude to you until you were rude to me and assuming I was some horn bag who didn't know how to look for porn.

  • There are strict laws in America about the film industry and exactly what can and can't be shown. For example whenever you see a sex scene in a film, you will never see anything other than a guy on top. Female pleasure and apparently female anatomy are grounds for an NC-17 rated film. Unfortunely the film industry is very sexist about what is displayed onscreen as far as female sexuality is concerned. That's just the way she goes. There's only one place you can see full blown on film and I think we all know what I'm talking about, pornography!

    • Thank you, very insightful response unlike the ignorant anon girl down there.

    • Thanks. I'm pretty sure I watched a documentary about it once. It was all about film ratings and the restrictions/qualifications for different ratings. I wish I could tell you the name of the documentary so you could check it out... But it just beats me lol

    • You people clearly haven't seen enough movies. I have seen spooning, girl on top, doggystyle etc. In many, many hollywood films. And some were full of jiggling boobs and butcheek.

  • Game of throne? It's a tv show though. Oh and porn movies.

Unfair gender law? You are a perv. I have seen an exposed penis in like 2 movies. And I don't think there are movies where the penis is erected. So it's not "unfair" they aren't showing a naked woman with their legs open.

    • Ok call me a perv all I want, I think it's sexually healthy to enjoy seeing vagina. However this question has nothing to do with me wanting to see it, I have porn and a girlfriend for that. The question is genuine curiosity as to why I never see vagina in movies. I've never seen game of thrones though so that's news to me. I also never said anything about "erected penis" that has nothing to do with the question. I've seen PENISES but I've never seen VAGINAS and I was wondering if there was some sort of gender biased law against exposing them in movies. Not sure why you're getting so offended.

    • If you sexually enjoy seeing vaginas tgen watch PORN MOVIES. Maybe they don't show female genitalia in movies as often, but in porn they show 70% more the female and her body. Flaccid penis is not as sexual view as erected penis. It's just like showing a woman naked where you can see her pubic hair/"camel toe". But woman with her legs open where you have full view in her private parts is also much more sexual view. You are the one who is very offended.

    • Ok seriously you need to stop putting words in my mouth... like wtf. I said nothing about erect penises and nothing about spread legs. I also said nothing about wanting to see vagina. All I asked is why I see penises in movies but not vaginas. WTF? Like I don't understand why you keep making assumptions. An aroused vagina would be a wet vagina. I never asked about wet ones, opened ones, or spread legs. All I asked was why movies have a tendency of showing penises but never vaginas. PERIOD. Jesus christ...

  • You are making a common mistake, and one that even gals make. The vagina is the birth canal. It is the tube that goes between the uterus and the "outside world". The opening to the vagina is found behind the inner lips. So you keep asking about vagina and the only way you can see the vagina is if the legs are spread and the lips are open. So every time you talk about seeing the vagina, YOU are the one calling for spread legs. The part you really mean is the vulva. Vulva not vagina. You have been ranting on the women who have answered you and tried to explain that, instead of listening to them. And you have blocked more than one of them. If you would stop being so childish and listen to what they are saying you would learn something. Okay. Now you can block me too.

    • I hate when people like you have to be so technical. Who really goes around calling it a vulva? You know what I'm talking about. You don't see guys going around specifying the scrotum and the glans and the urethra. If someone kicks you in between your legs you're gonna say balls even if the foot hit your dick or scrotum exclusively.

    • Who goes around calling things by their correct names? How about the girls that you keep blocking. And Technical? If someone called your dick your balls, that would be wrong and you would either not understand them or tell them they are wrong. It is not technical, it is just fact. Vagina is not Vulva, and balls are not the penis. Plain and simple.

    • Dude I understand where you are coming from. All I'm saying is you are obviously being overly technical because the collective organ is referred to as "a vagina." Scientifically yes the vagina is just the internal canal but common terminology for the collective is commonly referred to as a vagina. Nobody calls it a vulva. The entire hunk of finger shaped flesh hanging between my legs is collectively referred to as a penis even though it also consists of multiple different technical parts.

  • If anything, there's an unfair gender bias against showing penises in Hollywood.

Seeing a woman's vulva is pretty par for the course, but seeing a man's penis carries a ton of shock value. So yeah, I think you've actually got it backwards here.

    • What do you mean? I'm confused.

    • You wondered aloud if there was "some sort of unfair gender law against showing female genitalia in movie," and I pointed out that it was actually males who are asked to show less skin. Thus, the gender bias is against women, not in favor of them.

  • Schlindler's List is one

    • I've never even heard of that movie.

    • actually upon checking the scene I see it was covered by a panty nevermind

    • lol see what I mean? It just seems so gender biased. Even when someone has a baby or something, it's always a boy.

  • I don't know if it's American, I think so... But there's a movie called short bus. I know more.. Can't remember

  • Well said Vanny, the real reason for showing penises but not vaginas is political correctness from feminist and liberals. Those scum don't care about offending men but are hyper sensitive about offending women. If all their going to show of women is pubic hair then do the same for men! Just imagine if this situation was the other way around! The feminists and and politic correct libs would be going mad. To everyone who feels this way (men and women) don't just sit there, email anyone connected with TV shows and movies that continue this horrendous sexism to men. Find their contact details online and ask why they find it acceptable to show penises but not vaginas and when will they start showing as many vaginas (vulva, clitoris, ect) as they do penises. Men (and those decent women who support this) must take action now. Email, phone, write to, contact in any way TV channels and movie companies demanding equality in genital exposure. I have done so and so should you. God this whole situation is so sickening. Take action now!

  • go watch porn

    • Why even waste your time or energy with a response like this?

    • why even waste YOUR time or energy with a question like that? U should know that in movies they dont show exposed vaginas or dicks... U wanted to know where u could get those so I gave a simple answer... If ur that repulsed by nudity.. then do not ask such queestions.. Peace.

    • I think I'm just gonna start blocking bitchy girls like you from now on. Always fucking assuming. I never claimed to be repulsed by nudity nor did I ask about this "so i can see them" I can easily just go on google, type in VAGINA VIDEOS. and bam. I watch a wet vagina being fingered. Why the hell would I need to waste my time on GAG looking for movies that show them so I can wank to them? You also clearly neglected to read the whole question or any of the responses considering you said "vaginas or dicks" my question clearly states that they show dicks in movies.

  • Yeah it's called porn lol

    • I said movie...

    • It looks this thread is full of white knights bud, not much you can do with a lot like this.
