Is it possible? I was playing with him after sex and he told me to wait till it got hard again but I don't know why I had to wait. Why couldn't I just keep playing with it soft?

Many men are overly sensitive after an orgasm. it may be uncomfortable to touch. It’s not unlike the discomfort of being touched after a clitoral orgasm.

Well, of course there is a time after a man has cum that (usually) he'll go soft. With younger men, it's easier for them to maintain an erection after orgasm, but even then it's difficult.

Also, the sensation a penis feels after an orgasm is totally different. Before a climax, stimulation feels good, but after a climax, it doesn't. It might be irritating for you to keep playing with it after he's gone soft.

Personally, I found it kind of flattering when my wife wanted to keep playing with it.

Of course you can play with it when it's soft but you can't actually have sex with a soft penis. The guy wouldn't be able to enter the girl with a soft penis. Maybe he just didn't like it that you played with his soft penis. I know from some guy friends that some guys don't like this. I'm not sure if they're insecure about their penis or if they just don't like the feeling but some guys only want their penis to be touched in a sexual way when they're actually hard.

You can, depending on your definition of "sex."

You can get a flaccid penis inside a (relatively loose) vagina. Would take a lot of effort. The question becomes: Why?

But your second question is more interesting. Couldn't you just keep playing with it? Hell yeah! In fact, if you do, you'll get real messy, 'cause cum will still be leaking out, and he'll probably get hard faster (like potentially after 15-20 minutes). So do that. :) Good luck.

Guys have something called the refractory period after they cum. It's a period of time right after they cum during which they can't get another erection. The length of the refractory period depends on a lot of things: the guy's age, whether he's been drinking, how tired he is, etc. He needs some down time (so to speak) before he gets hard again.
