Male virgin. Should I lose my virginity to an escort?

Let me tell you a bit about my situation. I’m a 25-year-old male who has never had a relationship, thus, I’m a virgin. I’ve never been kissed either. The most I have ever done with a woman is a friendly hug. I would love to experience what most people have by my age, and it’s safe to say I have been thinking about sex EVERY single day for the past maybe six years. I watch porn often and crave intimacy. Thing is though I normally would like to have sex with a girl I love and care about but I never seem to be able to pick up or meet any new girls, and only really have a small group of friends. I feel very lonely. Lately I have been doing a bit of research on escorts and am considering hiring one for my first time. I know I probably won’t go through with it - I’m pretty shy - and it is totally out of character for me. However I can't seem to get the idea out of my head and I know I don’t want to be a virgin for much longer. What should I do?

  • losing your virginity will not magically change you. it will not make you more comfortable interacting with and creating relationships (romantic and platonic) with women. in fact, sex with an escort might make it more complicated for you.

    especially considering the fact that most women who work as escorts (and within the sex industry all together) are often trafficked and forced into said labor. you'll have the additional complication of having to consider whether or not that woman is being/ has been trafficked or if she's actually here out of her own free will. if you're unsure, you'll probably feel like a rapist. (I mean, if she IS being trafficked and you have sex with her, that would make you a rapist)

    I think you should consider seeking some professional advice, perhaps even reevaluating your social skills and overall demeanor...

    Personally, I don't think I could ever be with a man who has had sex with an escort. Especially since many women in my family have been sex workers - I KNOW how the industry works, which is why I wouldn't want to be with him.

    But you certainly don't need our permission.

  • I, personally, wouldn't do it just because I'd be paying someone to pretend to like me and take an interest in me to have sex. I also didn't require to love the guy who took my virginity. I just wanted a guy that was kind enough and that care about me enough to listen to me and respect me during sex. That's exactly what I did and I don't regret the experience. I regret it only because it would have been nice to lose it to my boyfriend and have that bond but other than that, my first time didn't really mean anything to me. It just felt like an obstacle to get over. If you really don't mind having sex with an escort then go right ahead. It only matters what you're comfortable with.

  • Well i'm in a similar situation, I'm 23 year old virgin though I've dated girls before. However I think losing it to an escort is very immoral and against my principles. Those women hate men in general and are oppressed by pimps and people who're running their business. I don't want to support that kind of enterprise. Society puts too much pressure on virgins and I think it's not such a big deal. Instead develop your skills with women, try socializing more no matter what. If you're going to try real hard I'm sure you wouldn't fail.

  • Use the escort as a last resort.
    You are paying them to perform.
    It would be slightly better to get someone off the internet, craigslist or adultfriend finder sites usually work.
    That way they already have seen your pic and still will have sex with you voluntarily.
