Girls, Do you agree that MOST guys are unattractive?

There ARE hot and attractive guys out there. I was just scrolling through a dating website with guys pictures, and realized that MOST of them were unattractive. Which made me think, are most guys unattractive, according to girls?

When I say "MOST" let's say I mean more than 50%. I ask this too because I think a lot of guys think that most girls (more than 50%) are attractive.

  • Huh, I don't know... It depends, there are some places where you go and most guys are extremely ugly, but if you go to other kind of places most guys are extremely hot. I went to the beach days ago and I found around 10 guys who were above an 8. They were soooo hot.

    So I wouldn't say most guys, just 50-50

  • Most guys on dating sites are unattractive, because attractive guys don't really have to use them.
    As for real life, I'd say most guys are average, and then there are attractive and unattractive ones. It's definitely not that most guys are ugly in real life.

  • I would have said most men my age are really quite attractive.

    • Wow. You think most dudes in their mid-40's are attractive?

    • Well, I wouldn't have said that when I was 18-24 - then I was going for men that age, but yeah, most of the guys I met when I was actively dating were attractive and I was actually attracted to (enough to be willing to go out with) maybe one in ten (that version of "attracted" involves both looks and personality stuff). Someone below said movies set out standards too high, and I agree that people who make it as movie stars are almost all required to be eye candy, but the best looking men on screen are no hotter than the best looking men in real life. Clooney's beautiful, but no hotter than my ex-husband, or a couple of the guys I met online.

  • If you were to categorise people in "unattractive" "plain" or "attractive", I think a lot of guys would fall into "plain" while most girls are either in "unattractive" or "attractive". This makes me mad sometimes tho, like if there was a girl with a big nose or something than she would be seen as ugly, but if it were a guy he would just be plain.

  • Attraction is subjective. Everyone will probably not feel attracted to 80% of people.

    I have rather unique preferences anyway, probably only around 10% of guys would interest me.

    • I'm taking my electives first so they're all liberal arts classes and 90% filled with girls so there's not many guys too choose from. Although, when walking around campus, at least half the guys I see (this is an estimate so I could be wrong) I found attractive.
