My boyfriend and I are going out 5 months and we both turned 17 a couple months ago. You don't have to wait to have sex, you're old enough now. You just have to make sure he uses protection and more specifically wears a condom and knows how to put it on properly.

Ya definitely! Just make sure he knows... and save both of you from embarrassment. Tell hom you care about him but not in that way yet... and add the "yet" it makes him feel he didn't do anything wrong.
