Should men count prostitutes in their total number of sex partners?

Technically yes because it is additional sex partners, but philosophically could it be counted? I would still say yes, for guys anyway. Most would agree women can get sex anytime they want to. Women can get any fantasy they want to (I see it every week with women of all types). But the thing a lot of women struggle with is finding quality guys. So yes they can have loads of thirsty men for sex, but it may not be first prize, or what they looking for. but their sexual power can attract this and this gives them numbers. For guys though, it's different. Some guys couldn't laid to save their life, some get "lucky" with a few and a minority get many girls. So sometimes we got to pay ha ha. So paying for second prize sex is almost the equivalent of women settling for second prize partners. But both have the same intent and put in similar amounts of efforts. So yeah, that's my theory. Some Men who pay for sex are the equivalent of a girl looking for sex. Outcome is the same. The only difference being the latter has sexual power, the former monetary power.

Should you count prostitutes, they are women you have had sex with and that is what you are counting up... so yes. Sexual conquests? No. That they are not.

Yes you are right regarding sexual conquests but now comes this question, girls can get sex very easy, so it's also not a conquest. That's one of the things I'm getting at, casual sex for women is the equivalent to prostitutes for men. A women's hardest part is blocking all the men she doesn't want , a little problem that most men don't have.
