Why not just be honest with her, be up front and say "mom, I'm not sexually active yet, but I did buy some condoms just in case"
If she's VERY religious and would freak out, then buy a little fabric bag of some sort, put the condoms in there and hide them underneath your clothes in your closet :)
If you're old enough to buy and have them then it shouldn't be an issue. Just put them in a drawer or something.
