I am confused, my fuck buddy hates me? Help?

Me and this guy meet some months ago. We made a deal that we were going to hang out to entertain each other but also have casual sex once and a while. Which I was all about it at first. We went out sometimes (10 times), talked every day, he kept calling it a date, We have already had sex last time we meet… Which confused me but I didn’t want to bring it up cause we were having a great time (good chemistry, same humor, sexual attraction) and this increase when we started to hold hands and kiss in public. While we were doing all this, my ex contacted me again and wanted to have a relationship with me (we were in a relationship for almost four years, so it is a deep relationship). I did not tell the new guy about my ex because I knew I didn’t want to enter the old relationship again. One day I told him which changed everything. We start arguing even if I told the guy that I had no feelings for my ex, he told me to figure it out and start deleting me from every social media and we stop talking for almost two weeks. My ex also knew about this new guy (I just wanted to be honest with them both) which he kind of understood, but wanted me to leave the new guy to be with him again. I ended my relationship with my ex completely and waited four days until I took contact with the new guy again and told him why my ex try to come back into my life and what not. He told me, it was good and that he only wanted causal sex from now on, nothing else. I am also manly in this for the sex, but my feelings that I kind of have developed is confused and almost shocked. I am unsure if I can shift this too only sex. I think I will get hurt if I do not stop feeling like I am feeling right now…. I do not know what to do. Should I just tell him that I could not do it anymore?
