I feel sad about Eric Harris and Dylan klebold and I cry daily. I'm such a mess. I'm dumb I know. Am I crazy?

I just feel so sorry for them. This has been happening for a few days.

  • You talking about the dudes from Columbine High School massacre?

Did you just find out about that recently? Since that happened in 1998.

Their story is tragic but what they did was horrible too. Even worse over the fact that they felt like that was the only way for justice. If they were alive today and never did what they did. They could have become amazing computer tech's.

    • Well, I always knew, it's just that recently I've been getting into it a bit more because I'm using the incident as part of my research case studies for my thesis.

    • For me I only felt bad for eric. Dylan creeps me out more seeing him in the videos he made. Plus there is less known for his reasons for doing it. He had more friends than Eric. Which Eric didn't really have anyone, was constantly moving, always seen as the military brat, etc. Which in one of the videos he made. For me you could tell the military life really got to him. Since when he was yelling and threatening in the camera. He sounded just like a drill sergeant.

  • Well its certainly not sane... Sobbing about people who don't have anything to do with you for days on end is not normal and it's not healthy. I think you should discuss this with a doctor or counselor.

  • Why?
I watched that unfold on television. I have no sympathy for either one. Klebold was a dumb ass who went along with Harris. Do you cry for any of the teens that they killed? What about the those that were permanently maimed? How about the parents who never get to hold their children again. Do you cry for them? SMDH

    • Ofcourse I feel sympathy for those people, but there's a difference. They lived good lives before they died. With Dylan and Eric it wasn't like that.

    • Please. There are millions of people who have lived shitty lives who managed not to kill people. These two had it easy compared to so many others. Eric by definition was a psychopath.

    • Being a psychopath isn't a bad quality. Just like having cancer isn't a bad quality. He was sick, that isn't to be taken lightly. And just because a lot of people live shitty lives doesn't excuse the fact that they had shitty lives.

  • Everything about it was tragic. You can feel sorry for them just don't try to find justification in what they did.

  • Why do you feel sorry for them?

    • For many reasons.

    • Could you explain a few of them? Also do you feel more sorry for them or their victims?

    • Sure. To name just a few, I know that both of them suffered mental illness. They were bullied at school. Eric didn't have much of a family structure. I feel like they dabbled a lot in ideas of white supremacy because of societal pressures with regards to masculinity. As for the actual attack, I feel bad that they killed other people and themselves. Nobody kills people unless they are really damaged inside. Its weird because I feel more sorry for them than the victims which makes me a horrible person. Right.

  • You need some serious help if you feel sorry for those animals.

    • They were people too.

    • Do you feel sorry for Adam Lanza, Dylan Roof and Timothy McVeigh? These people are all animals and deserve death.

    • Don't say that. Nobody deserves death.
