Do you get aroused when you see breastfeeding?

Not that it would justify banning public breastfeeding anywhere anybody else could eat... There are also people with veil fetishes, and there's such a thing as burqa porn, so the only thing a woman (or man!) could do to avoid potentially arousing someone would be to, well, not exist at all... But I was curious if anybody got aroused when they see breastfeeding

I never really understood the stigma around breastfeeding. I mean boobs are basically made for just that, to feed a baby, so why is it weird or ewwww for someone to do it? Also I find it a bit infantile to get aroused by nursing. The only people getting any strong feelings from it should be the mum (nursing females act very weird sometimes) and the infant, not someone who sees that happen.

  Agreed! Lol I remember a story about another culture in which breasts aren't sexualized, and their known basically for their purpose in breastfeeding. A woman and a man got married, and he then expressed desire to fondle/suck her breasts (like many men in our culture) and the woman & her family were so shocked because they thought it was infantile behavior & that he was mentally ill or something, so she got a divorce! Also, what do you mean when you say that nursing women act very weird sometimes?

  I don't know how to describe it exactly, but while nursing a woman is prone to have mood swings due the immense amount of hormones it makes their body produce. Those hormones are used to strengthen the bond between the baby and the mum as well as to keep the milk production going. Anyway some mums just seem to switch through a full scale of emotions when they breastfeed a baby and it can be a bit uncomfortable at time if they start crying suddenly and you don't know why it happens.

  @Open_up in a way boobs are a way to show one is at mature age. In other primate the area where they show they are in heat is their butt (turns red and swollen I many cases which is yuck) boobs are kinda like upper butt. Tho it has little to none to do with arousal, more with telling you aren't a child anymore. Also boobs are convenient place to store fat in (which women need during pregnancy so the baby will have enough nutrition to grow). Human women have hidden ovulation so they don't really go in heat, so for men it's biologically generally a good idea to look for women who are not pregnant to ensure they will be the fathers to the baby that the woman will eventually give birth to. A good place to store fat without making woman's stomach bulge and make her look pregnant is the chest area. Butt and tights are also good places for fat storage but too much excess fat around there can cause difficulties in moving, hence boobs. So no. Bot really for sexual arousal for men.

  @Open_up The fact that you get aroused looking at breasts doesn't mean that's why they exist. In nudist societies men are able to look at breasts without getting aroused. In this society you get aroused bc you associate breasts with sex.

  @Open_up True. The fact that breasts are only able to be shown in pornography, and not in nonsexual situations, perpetuates the idea that breasts are for nothing but sex. If public breastfeeding was normalized, I feel like there'd be a different view towards breasts in our culture. Of course there'd still be the sensual aspect, but sex wouldn't be what immediately comes to mind when many people see breastfeeding

  @Open_up sweetie, I'm not talking about culture, I'm talking about biology. That's how it was supposed to go. Also beforehand liking female boobs was considered a fetish and not a norm. So a culture where boobs were not considered to be objects of male arousal has already happened. Before the Americans started to mass spread their boobfetish culture even in Europe boobs weren't really considered an object of sexual arousal and some topless swimwear for women were fashionable. Finding boobs arousing is learned and not something that comes naturally and even women learn it (to the point that women react to a picture of naked women with much stronger arousal than to a picture of a naked man) also in some tribes that have stayed away from the mass culture, nobody else but children find boobs arousing in any way (arousal in this case doesn't necessarily mean sexual arousal) So as I said. The cultures already exist, but they might not be the ones you have in your life.

No, but because I am well aware that some people do, I would never breastfeed in public. I am aware that there are some mentally ill, UNREGISTERED sex offenders who fantasize about infants and children performing sexual acts. While drinking milk from a breast is not a sexual act, that logic doesn't exist in some minds. I wouldn't risk exploiting my child just to make a point.

  Well you could say the same about wearing sandals. There are many men with foot fetishes who may well take a photo of your feet and jack off to it. And I don't think he'd jack off to the same video for months. The Coolidge Effect and all that. The same video/image tends to get boring. There's plenty of porn to see. Anyway, when women breastfeed in public, they're not doing it to "make a point." They're doing it to feed their child.

  @Asker No, you couldn't. If you are trying to debate to the point where you'll come up with any random comparison, yes you could. But realistically, considering the real world and the way the real word works, no, you couldn't. There's a significant difference between a guy jacking off to your foot over a fetish and a guy jacking off to your kid because you wanted to be edgy, free, and pull your whole breast out in public with no cover. Regardless of the time span, it's disgusting and very realistic. Many women do breastfeed to make a point and get attention. I say this based off of my experience speaking with women who breastfeed not based off of ideas I've collected from the internet. You can claim that they're all just doing it to feed their child, but some of them are sincerely doing it because they want attention and/or they want to come off as cool and edgy.

  I even have friends who are mothers who agree with me. As mothers, they say they don't understand why you would want to pull out your whole breast in public and expect everyone to be okay with it and they too feel there is an exploitative nature to it. Especially considering that there's a less talked about community of adults who fetishize breast feeding and want to drink breast milk in a sexual way. Women who expect that they should be able to pull their entire, bare breast out in public and start feeding a baby in the middle of a room or a very public place are not being completely realistic about this world.

It is nice to see it, but I don't feel any stirrings in my pants. It kind of sheds a different light on the breast. So yes, I admire all aspects of the breast in question thinking of my experiences with them; but I also see a part on a woman's body feeding life, and how beautiful is that?

  It's not appropriate to "go for the other titty." Before you say that it's "natural," it's actually not natural for mammals in general (humans are mammals btw) to consume breastmilk (or milk in general) after infancy.
