It could be because society displays female nudity/sexuality far far more than it does it's male counterpart. All the adds, billboards, movies and etc where you see half naked women - little boys are not the only ones bombarded with all of that, the little girls see it growing up as well. Could be because of that girls are a tad bit more often unsure of their sexuality and could be why we hear of bi-girls far more often than we do of boys.

Sure, but isn't it also possible that the reason we display female nudity more is because girls are inately more receptive to female nudity than men are to make nudity? So if its true that women are inately more receptive to their own gender than men are its potentially more efficient to sexualize women since youd appeal to most men and a decent portion of women. 2 birds with one stone sort of thing.

@Bandit74 No it's literally because advertisers do not cater to women by default. If a company wants to advertise men and women they tell women to fuck off and advertise to men.

@BellePepper no sane minded company would ever tell any potential customer to fuck off. That just doesn't happen. The reason it may seem that men are catered to more than women is because it is probably far iesier to visually influence a man. We are visual creatures after all. That and the fact that men earn more money on average and thus companies focus more (not exclusively) on customers who earn more.

And yet they do. Every single day! They do it by portraying women as sexual objects and when they do advertise to us it's so degrading and offensive. The reason men ARE catered more to in advertising is because men are considered the defaul audience even though women do more household shopping and spend more money.

@BellePepper you know no one is forcing the women working for advertisement companies to pose in a way that 'objectifies' them. They do it for the cash. And men are often not portrayed in the best light either. Look at the commercials for cleaning products or any house hold items that are marketed exclusively for women - the men in them are portrayed as more dumb than a fucking tree stump.
