Your question is valid and appropriate and is actually a good question. The answer would be a textbook long. Yes there have been studies regarding orgasm male versus female. There are many papers written and all are controversial. So if you have one opinion you can back it with dozens of well-written articles. On the other hand, you can have the opposite opinion and document them with well-written articles. I will briefly tell you not the conclusions but why studying orgasm is so difficult.
How was the woman being stimulated? How comfortable is she regarding sex and having an orgasm. How old is the woman? Is she at a sexually mature age. How experienced she? And there are many more variables involved.
So when defining an article's conclusion it is very important to see how the experiments were conducted because that can lead to conclusions that are incorrect. Remember that 40 years ago only 20% of all women had orgasms. With the advent of the birth control pill and societies changing attitudes toward sex more attention has been given to women. I will summarize in one sentence. All the studies so far that use subjects that are extremely comfortable with sex and over age 35 have demonstrated that women allow themselves to reach orgasm and the pleasurable sensations of such greater than that of men. This is partly because women can have multiple orgasms occurring in a wavelike fashion.

No one could ever answer that probably. Judging by the reaction of all my male partners, I'd say they all act the same when cumming, every time. hah. but, srsly, this is one thing that a lot of people just don't understand unless I point it out every time...
