Depends how close you are. If you only talk in order to hook up than prob not. If it's a person you hang out with a lot and have non commital sex with than sure. I think the idea of friends with benefits is that you add sex to an otherwise normal friendship. As soon as you start considering the sex when thinking about the person non-sexually you've lost that. At that point I guess it's like having a boyfriend that you try to avoid being with.
