My boyfriend is unusually horny lately?

He says that all he thinks about every second, even at work, is sex with me, and that he feels like he's a horny 19 year old again. He's usually not so crazy sexually and can't even hold a conversation because he's zoning out thinking about sex (im on my period and we haven't in about a week). He says he hasn't felt like this in a very long time and it's weirding him out, whats up with that? IS there some reason he could be so highly horny?

  • Well if you and your boyfriend have been having sex regularly before your period-break then yes his sex schedule has been disturbed. His body might have been gotten used to having sex and releasing it often but all of a sudden it stopped so thats why.

    Also some guys tend to have their "horny" times of the month too, so there is a chance that your period gap and his time is over-lapping hence making him more sexually frustrated.

    In short, i would say its a natural thing of young guys of 18-24, so dont much worry about it. Soon it will over i am sure haha :)

    • Haha i see, well a lot of things can effect that, maybe his diet recently is changing his sexual drive, some food triggers the sexual drive. He maybe working out or did some heavy activity recently or stuff like that and well yeah he just misses you too haha. Guys are like that so yeah, i would say its totally natural thing and dont much worry about it :)

  • These spells come and go. While he's in his max horny state, just give him all the sex you can stand. Is no period sex his idea or yours? I've found women amazingly responsive during their periods. Just drag out the old towels and go to it. Just ignore the mess and enjoy each other.
