In most armies, fraternization is not allowed (be it hetero or homo-sexual). However, it does happen. Sometimes it's consensual but more often it's not (i. e. It's rape). Gangbangs are extremely rare and again, it's usually rape gangbangs, not consensual gangbangs. At least this is how it was when I was in the army infantry.

Does it happen in high school and college? So why wouldn't it happen in the military? The military is just like the rest of society, people do anything and everything. That being said there are a lot of traditional types too. You get all types serving their country.
My boyfriend is in the military and his superiors tell them it's not allowed. But he's also in a higher ranked position, rather than enlisted.
But I'm sure it can happen if they're single.
