Why is it that MOST guy's don't even take care of their feet and always look ugly, one of the more popular erogenous zones for both men and women?

Usually any girl you'll see you can tell that she takes really good care of her feet. She cleans her feet, has nice clean toenails, the actual toes itself are shaped really good, feet are sometimes moisturized, soft etc. But a lot of guy's feet are dry, toes look weird, etc. But the very few guy's out there who do have very nice feet (rarely) aren't appreciated and for some girl's say that their feet are still ugly. This can play both sides as some guy's feet do look nicer (sexier) than some girl's feet and some girl's are jealous for that. Foot fetish or not why can't guy's care for their feet more so that women aren't so grossed out by male feet, and wouldn't mind paying more attention to that high erogenous zone which is feet? 

I picked a photo from one of my female friends who loves her feet (lol) and a pic from a guy who takes pics of his feet here on GAG. From what I've already said in my opinion, I think he's one of the very few guy's who actually takes really good care of his feet and you can see that the toes are nicely shaped, toe nails trimmed evenly and feet are moisturized. I think his toes looks better than her toes. But this is just my personal opinion.

My theory is people take most care of what they can use in the attraction of whatever it is they like. Based on the very few, very small studies available, about 15.5% of the population (that was sampled) are attracted to feet/toes. And though I don't have a statistic, I'm pretty confident that pool is mostly males and very few homosexual females.

That leads me to believe that the reason the larger group of people who take care of their feet do so because of an unconscious necessity to remain attractive to the largest group of people possible, and adding an extra 15% of the population to their chances is a big boost.

Again though, I believe it to be an unconscious thing; I don't think they actively decide to use their feet as assets. Further, their reasons are tempered by convenience and how often the feet are in view. Women more often than men lotion their legs for the same attraction reason, and the feet are right there so might as well. And women more often than men show off their legs and therefore have sight of them; feet are out-of-sight-out-of-mind for people who wear long pants and socks/shoes both in public and at home.

And once things begin to go down hill, it's easier not to care than bring them up to your standards. Unfortunately though I appreciate a woman's feet, my own are pretty bad, mostly because they've been hidden for decades. Hopefully whoever I'm trying to attract takes no interest in feet.

I don't think most girls pay a lot of attention to feet, but I have had a few comment on mine, mostly because of their size. But I can tell you I trim my nails and keep them clean, so nothing disgusting about them.
That is a stereotype to say all dudes' feet r like disgusting.

Guys don’t seem to care if girls can locate their socks only using their nose. My boyfriend will wear socks maybe up to a week. I asked him how often he washes them and he said he soapy water running down his leg wash them... ew. So I think guys feet are just gross.

I hope this isn't too kinky, but I've occasionally had the privilege of taking care of a guy's feet, to help maintain them and prevent him from scratching his girlfriend's ankles when they're in bed together. I'll keep his toenails neatly trimmed and filed, remove any calluses and rough spots, and of course, massage his feet regularly with lotion, etc.

Needless to say, this kind of arrangement isn't easy to find, but whenever I'm fortunate enough to be granted the privilege of tending to an alpha male's feet, I always work diligently to keep his feet absolutely immaculate for his girlfriend.

Nobody cares about feet.
As a matter of fact I find feet pretty ugly, and anything that directs attention to them just makes the issue worse.
Feet are to be placed in shoes under socks, that is about it really.

Feet aren't popular or erogenous except with a committed but insignificant percentage of the population. Having said that it's obviously a passion killer if you don't look after them.
