Well. I just stand there for a while, wash my bod twice, shampoo my hair, then condition it twice, and then wrap up my hair with the conditioner still sitting in. While I'm letting that settle in, I wash my body 2 more times, shave, wash it 2 more times again, stand in the water some more, rinse my hair off, recondition it one last time, wash my body one last time, stand in the water some more, and then I eventually get out.
Why not say you were shaving? We girls shave nearly everything on our bodies, doesn't have to be pubes.
You could also say that the hot water was making you feel dizzy so you were trying to take your time. Or maybe that you just like showers and the water was soothing.
