I think pregnant women have a very special type of beauty. Sure they have a big belly (depending on how far along they are) and other signs of pregnancy that would normally not be considered "aesthetically pleasing" but at the same time they are creating a life and they get that "glow" about them. And while many become pregnant while not intending to many times them being that way is a product of them being with their life partner and showing love in the closest way possible. I view it as a different sort of beauty based on principles not just physical appearance and to me that what really matters :)

It makes me happy knowing that the women is bringing a new life into this world, but also my mind will wonder for a second or three is the guy that fathered the baby still in the picture or did he run off.. and in the big picture I do hope both mother and father are together through all of it

Granted, that's partially from experience. All 3 of my pregnancies, especially into the second and third trimesters, were pretty much... uh, yeah.
Not only non-stop horniness + weirdly amplified orgasmic response, but also extra-smooth complexion! and lack of usual mood swings! and husband with conveniently discovered pregnant-wifey fetish!

I swear, I kinda wish humans had a 3-year gestation period, or some shit.

Before I had kids, being around obviously pregnant women just made me like I WANT I WANT I WANT. Esp because I don't get pregnant easily (I'm super long and lean and low-ish in estrogen). I mean, I could actually feel when women around me were ovulating, even. No lie.

I don't know if she is happy to be pregnant or not. I certainly do not get horny. I certainly do not hope she has a miserable pregnancy. But seeing that she is pregnant, and knowing how that works, I can see that she got screwed.

Not all of our pregnancies are miserable 38-week sentences in God's pre-arraignment cell, mister. For those of us who are blessed/cursed with a surplus of progesterone -- think primarily "long and lean and (ironically) kinda hard to get pregnant in the first place" -- pregnancy is about 4 weeks of mild discomfort, followed by 35 weeks of pure blissful tranquility, smooth skin, relentless horniness (and VERY satisfying sex), and disappearance of what were debilitating cramps. Then there's that last couple days, but, that only lasts a couple days. Sometimes not even.

I think a pregnant woman is special. One thing women have over men is the ability to create life. I know you need a man to do it, sort of. But men need a woman to make the baby. Also, just something about how a pregnant woman glows. And they do turn me on too... ;-)
