I disagree, I don't think it's for validation. If he does it behind his girl's back then yes, he's a jerk. But if he gets permission first I don't see the issue. As long as he doesn't want to do it all the time, that would be weird... But men talk about things like that with their friends anyway, no matter how respectfull they are, and I don't think it makes them disrespectful.

If I sent a nude picture to a friend and she showed it to other people, then it would be her fault, and visa versa. Same if you sent me a nude picture and I showed others, then it shows what kind of a person I am with your trust.

It's not breaching trust if you ask. My husband knew I wouldn't care if he showed a picture of my tits to his coworker that I will literally never see. He asked me first, of course, but he knew I wouldn't care. Plus, he didn't actually send him a copy, just showed him one for like five seconds. I think there's a huge difference between bragging to one person and actually sending a copy of the pic to everyone in your contacts list, you know?
