So yes, it is pretty damn big. That is outside of internet measures because online 8inches is small.

  This chart seem more realistic than the other one I've seen which says the average is 5.12". If I read this right it says it's more like just over 6".

  @Tromba that chart is talking about BONE PRESSED, meaning when you push a ruler into your pelvic bone which goes past the fat pad. Average Non-bone pressed is around 5.5".

  @Tromba I like this chart because it compares and combines the results of three peer reviewed studies. The yellow stipe shows where the median is for each of the studies. Good information, clearly presented and summarized with sources referenced on the chart. A no brainer.

  @VegasNewFallout It was only the first study which got an average of 6.2". Given the variance it makes me wonder about all these studies. I mean they can't exactly get a truly random sample because not every guy they approach is going to agree to be measured.

  @Tromba That's BPEL tho, not NPEL. If u factor in the avg. american's weight, and figure it adds about.5 of an inch of fat pad on them, it's easy to see where the 5.12" figure comes from. It's like me, i have an 8" NPEL dink but my BPEL measurement is roughly 8.5" which would be my 'true' size but not my visible size which is typically all that matters so 5.1" - 5.5" is still a valid estimate based on those factors alone.

  @Tromba These studies had a large sample size tho and its not like you'll ever be able to sample all developed adults in any study. with 7 billion people on the planet.

  @Tromba Most studies are a small selection of a particular city/state/country so you have to take them all with a grain of salt. Average is in the 5<6" range. Largest study say it's 5.16" but some countries have smaller avg. and bring the # down.

  @NJ_Casanova Lol, you're not paying attention. Those studies are BONE PRESSED measurements, meaning the ruler is pressed hard against the pelvic bone measuring the hidden inches beneath a person's fat pad. BONE PRESSED average is 5.75", but NON BONE PRESSED varies between 5.1" - 5.5" depending on a person's weight, and since the average American male is around 18% body fat, that's a decent sized fat pad.

  @VegasNewFallout If the wessell was NBPEL they just guesstimated the BPEL? Most studies I've seen are Bone pressed to negate the variation of the fat pad between guys.
  
  The second study is a self measuremented study in the USA and isn't relaible. The last one is Bone pressed but is the study of guys from Iseral. They are definitely off on the % at the edges of the bell curve. There are more that 1-3% over 7.5"

  @NJ_Casanova Wessel's average percentile is at 6.2 BPEL, which could be anywhere between 5.5" and 6" NPEL. See the 'BP' initials below it? That means Bone Pressed. No offense, but you're not understanding this bone pressed vs non bone pressed, or what each percentile means.

  @NJ_Casanova The first chart shows the average (50th percentile) at around 5.5 - 5.75, the second chart pretty much shows the same thing, the third chart shows the 50th percentile being 5.1, and the last chart shows the 50th percentile being around 5.1" - 5.75". All of these charts show that the 50th percentile is sub 6" bone pressed.

  @VegasNewFallout - Bone pressed is fine, since during intercourse the penis is normally pressed in hard at times, which will push in the fad pad just about the amount.

  @VegasNewFallout I completely understand NBP and BP, until every guy it the world is measured all the measurement are only a "Guesstimate". It's just stupid to have a study with NBP as it varies do to weight and BP doesn't. It the same as putting any weight to self reported studies like the Kinsler study, Herbnick, etc.

  @CheerGirl38139 Well the penis is beaten into our heads from a young age as what makes US "a Man" as wrong as it is. It's guy's only real insecurity, equal to all the ones that women have for their weight, shape, boobs, ass, vagina insecurities combined. Hair loss and overweight are the other have less important insecurities. 1/2" to a guy is like 1 full cup size or 2 dress sizes for a girl.
