Yes, Sbgirl, receiving dirty messages does turn me on. However, in general (being... seasoned) I prefer texting primarily as a prelude to a phone conversation, and the phone as an entree to a face-to-face. And I agree with Aficionado that some sort of real-word acquaintance is necessary to make remote seduction really sizzle. Getting a sext from a relative stranger is, well, strange. Sometimes it's amusing but most of the time it leaves me thinking, WTF?

Almost anyone can carry off sexting. Text messaging is devoid of context, inflection and intonation. Anyone reasonably articulate can give decent sext.

A voice call, however, can be soooo much more intimate and, therefore, takes several orders of magnitude more courage, poise, imagination, and some skill to bring off than sexting does. In some ways, giving good phone is even more challenging than face-to-face flirting. I don't know one woman in five who is sexually open enough to give really hot phone.

The thoughts, feelings and desires that an intelligent, creative, articulate woman can provoke in me over the phone are incredible! And a woman with a sexy voice, and who knows how to use it, makes phone flirting/seduction/sex an amazingly erotic experience. And while I have never actually been driven to a hands-free orgasm when being seduced over the phone, I have come very, very close. Mmmm... but I digress.

So, girls, go ahead and sext your target. But if it's me, I'll usually then do my best to get you on the phone so you can REALLY show me just how how seductive you can be!

Sexting is awesome. I have only done with a few people but with the last person we got a little too carried away. Nothing bad ever came from it so it was all just good fun. And yes it really turns me on. I think it's because it's all directed specifically at me and not just generalized like watching porn. I'm kind of old fashioned and a bit hopeless and fall for this stuff easy so this kinda thing works really well for me.
