No permiscuity and immorality are two very different things permescuity is a sexual action that means to have sex and or be sexual with multiple people not necessarily at the same time nor in the same time frame. So someone who may have sex a lot with difrent people may be considered promiscuous. As to immorality is a mind set of which determines whether an action that is taken is good or bad or in other words moral or immoral which is often more than not dependant on multiple factors and beleifs that coencieds with ones own determined mind set on the structure of good and bad or right and wrong. So then your question becomes is permescuity right or wrong well the answer is neither. Permiscuity is of ten used Now in days as a judgmental term meaning one is wrong for being promiscuous when the reality is that often more than not ones promiscuous nature is simply a trait of education and experience. One may have sex and in doing so may have sex with many other people, one should not be judged negatively on ones own sexual journey in life because it's simply sexual growth an in that growth in who one is as a person. That grown is not bad more good simply growth an ones own journey thew life. Saddly many treat people baddly for experiancing sex and even worse if one has sex with may people. They shame them and ridicule those that do have much sex the term now in days is called slut shaming which is in fact a wrond mentality and is moraly incorrect to do to someone. Instead understanding ones self and others individual stand points is in fact the only real moral stand that should be taken. So to sum it up things are good, bad, or simply neutral meaning not good or bad. In this promiscuity in reality is just neutral and action one takes in his or her life nothing more nothing less. That being said sex should always be had in caution so use protection, get tested, have the person your with get tested if possible, take birth controle, an try to avoid sexual interaction with someone who is involved romantically with someone else so as to avoid ignorant and incorrect judment from others. Someone you love very much as this very moment could be promiscuous and you'd have no idea, so I'd say it would be a good idea to stop obsessing over other people's sex lives because there is no way to know for sure unless you stalk people 24/7. It's kind of perverted that you care so much what other people do in private but that's just my opinion.

I suppose that depends on where you derive your morals? What defines right and wrong? Is lying wrong? What about stealing? What are you using that determines that - especially if you do not believe in God? Those who do, however, view promiscuous behavior, pre-marital sex, and extra marital sex all as wrong. Sex is viewed ok within the bounds of marriage between that man and woman.

I think it depends on a lot of factors. Too complicated to make it a black and white issue.
I, generally speaking, do not like promiscuity, and I don't based on my morals, in part. But I don't expect other people to live by my morals, and there could be situations where it does not bother me.

So I'm in the "immoral" camp, but not in the "condemn people who act that way!" camp.
