What to do when I need to pee in every 5' after having sex with my husband?

Because of traveling for work, my husband is not always at home. Sometimes he is away for like a month or two. I masturbate myself when I need sex when he is not with me. However, I only massage my clit and I don't do the inserting part. I just simple don't like that part. It means there is nothing come inside my vagina for a long time. When my husband and I have sex after a month or two month without sex, I often experience the thing that I have to pee in every 5'. Like we had sex yesterday and today I pee 10 times already within the last 2 hours. I also noticed there was a little bit of blood in my urine. Last time when I had the same situation, I thought i had a scratch inside my vagina because we did not use lube and i never insert anything inside my vagina so maybe my vagina needs time to expand itself or whatever. But yesterday, we used much lube and I still have the same situation. I don't know why. Just a reference that my husband's size is normal and we don't do heavy sex. Whenever this situation happens to me, usually it lasts for like up to 4 hours like I need to pee constantly in 4 hours. I don't drink much water (or i don't drink at all) because I don't want to have source to pee again. I know I should keep myself hydrated but going to the bathroom in every 5' is very exhausting. Then I felt much better. And after 12 hrs, my body gets back to normal. If we have sex after that, this situation won't happen again. It only happens on the 1st time we have sex after a long time of not having sex if that makes sense. Does anyone have the same issue like me? Do you know if antibiodic pills could help? (I googled it and someone said it might be infection and antibiodic can help). And do you know why it happens?

It is actually recommended to urinate after sex, but I can see how this could be very annoying. I have had very similar issues. From what my urologists says, you can have little bits (like dust, hair particles, or even lub) pushed up your urethra from the act of penetration. It can irritate you can give symptoms very similar to a UTI. I often use an over the counter med called Azo Max. It numbs the urinary tract so you done have the constant itchy/twitchy need to pee. It does turn your pee orange though. Good luck!

thank you for your comment. I will go to find the Azo Max today to see if it helps. I don't feel itchy. I just have to pee in every 5' and blood comes out in my urine. How long does it make my urine orange btw? Like couple of days?

They only last for 4-6 hours, but only take 10-15 to kick in. I would be worried about the blood though.. You could have a low grade urinary infection that just gets aggravated by sex. A Dr can take a sample and get it tested. Blood could also indicate a kidney infection. Do you have any lower back pain on the side? A good round of antibiotics could wipe this out completely. The Azo can help in the moment, but a Dr would be your best long term option.

i dont have lower back pain on the side. But i will go to see doctor if this continues to last for 1-2 more days. Tks for your advice

If you went to the bathroom ahead of time.. it's not that you have to pee it's just the pressure on your bladder that is making you feel that way. If you emptied your bladder ahead of time you shouldn't worry about it.

I suggest that you talk to your doctor, it may just be pressure on your bladder, from lack of penetration and your bladder may be sitting lower, it could be caused by a pelvic prolapse.
