There seems to be negative connotations to both, but far more with the "beta."
Its OK to be introverted at times.. But all women ultimately want a guy that has confidence, can stand up for what he believes in and his woman, isn't a nice guy door mat to women, wants to do something in his life, and is interesting/fun to be around.
Confidence is key. Want confidence? Talk to as many girls as you can (can be platonically) too, be proactive in reaching your goals and acquiring new experiences. Its one of those things that if its not in your comfort zone, you just have to tell yourself you have it and just do it.
