Vagina's naturally have an oder. It changes constantly as you change your diet, your environment, exercise, your beauty products, soaps, when you have sex and get your period. If you eat a lot of sugar, have a poor diet [meaning you eat a lot of junk food], eat things with yeast, douche, and if your having sex with an unclean partner, or caught an STD or infections: wither bacterial or fungal, yes it will smell way bad. Stop with bleached and perfumed panty liners and sanitary pads as they help cause problems with your pH balance. I stopped with that and get unscented. Also be careful taking long baths as that also pushes bacteria in the water into the vagina and cause problems.
Vaginas are supposed to smell and taste like vaginas. It changes based on what you've done that day (sweating and time in between washes) and of course your hormones apparently effects it as well. Maybe just keep a feminine hygiene wipe in your purse if you ever feel unsure.

Musky is normal. That's how my girlfriend and other girls I've gone down on before have always smelled. It turns me on, actually. Sweet or bitter is how I'd describe the taste, too. Not sure why it tastes different at different times, but I've never thought it tasted bad.
It's normal to have a faint musky odor since it's tucked away in a very sweaty place inside your clothes most of the time. As for taste, it's supposed to taste kinda like lobster/shrimp, but obviously slight variations is ok I think

I don't think it's entirely dependent on your diet. Race plays a factor, and some girls are naturally drier than others. Changing their diet wouldn't change this.
@SuitAndTie1986 I am pretty sure race has no factor at all. And you may be drier but that doesn't affect your taste. Changing your diet really does affect your taste. There has been studies on it and typically vegans/vegetarians taste better than people who eat red meat.
But the amount of wet it is is the #1 contributing factor to taste.
