  • A racial preference is when you prefer to date someone belong from a certain race but don't really make it an obligation under your requirement and you're still open in dating someone else if you happen to get along with that person.

Meanwhile a racial fetismism is when you get obsessed with a certain race to the point you're willing to lower your dating pool and you make that requirement an obligation. For instance if a man says ''I want to data Asian women because they¿re submissive and know their places'' that's not a simple preference. That's an obsession and the wanting to control someone you perceived as weak and submissive due to their race.

  • Racial preference: you're attracted to people of a certain race. You could date them, marry or even have kids with a person of my that race.
Racial fetishism: you think that people of a certain race are only good for sex. You would use them for sex. But you could never date a person of that race, marry or have kids with them.
You can even make racist comments about their race.

  • I THINK racial preference would be.
"I prefer (insert race) but I believe there's beauty in every race , I keep my options open"
    Racial fetishism would be.
"I LOVE (insert race) , they're so fucking hot *heart eyes heart eyes heart eyes squirt squirt emoji*. I only date (insert race)".

  • The difference is probably in the degree of manifestation of this preference. I think it's not bad. I would also very much like to have sex with the girls the other races, but I unfortunately do not have such opportunities.

  • Preference= "I prefer to date this race, but am willing to date other races as well" or "I would rather only date this race"

Fetishism= Obsession with race, regardless of their personality at all.

  • What difference does it make. We like who we like

  • The second is all sexual

  • Perhaps fetishism does not last beyond the thought of sex where preference is what would be preferred for a partner.
