I think women don't want to see the fat ugly old guy that always shows up but the fit young toned guy is a different story. Let's face facts here, women think about sex more than men do and spend more of their day in a turned on state. They just can't admit it because admitting it means that they could be labelled as whores. Kinda sad that in the 21st century women still feel pressured and oppressed into hiding their true feelings and this comes from other women not men! So feminists better start pointing their fingers at each other on this subject and stop blaming that balding old guy that just wants to shed his clothes and feel young again. Lol

We belong to a resort where nudity is mandatory for men but clothing is optional for women. So while it is not an "event", it is very common for all the men to be nude and the women to be fully dressed or at least in a sarong. We are there most weekends and everyone accepts it as perfectly normal.
I think the difference is that the men and women are mature about the male nudity and understand that the men there want/like/are comfortable to be nude. Also, everyone understands that some of the women are more shy or have body issues and are not comfortable being nude themselves.
True, but guys have body issues also, just don't say it usually and don't focus so much on them. But I'm referring more to women enjoying the naked male visually vs what they say. ie, most would say they have no interest at all seeing a naked male unless it's their boyfriend/husband, so... if that's true, what do they like about CFNM events then?
Its probably a little of the party atmosphere at the events that attracts them. Also, there is a segment of the female population that is more visually stimulated than others, women aren't just cookie cutter in their attitudes towards what stimulates them. Even the ones that are more visually stimulated, are more likely to deny it because of the judgmental attitudes of the population that, even unspokenly, think badly of a woman that expresses her sexual desires. This as opposed to men who can by in large announce their sexual desires and face no repercussions. Even at our resort where everyone is quite used to seeing nude men, if a visitor or new man comes in that is well built or has a "unique" feature the women will take notice and comment among each other about that.
It's really too bad society makes women feel like that. I hope that's something that changes. Guys like to feel desired physically by females to and females should be shamed for it.
No women would ever dislike seeing a naked male as long as he's embarrassed or as long as its casual. Make it sexual and its a no-no.
