Is sleep porn bordering on rape?
The female pornstar remains unresponsive, her eyes remains closed and her body is moved around by the male for every position all the way to the cumshot ending.

One can say this is kind of like having a sex with a girl who you've drugged with a date rape drug, or is so intoxicated she is passed out and unresponsive.

What do you guys think? Is sleep porn kind of like rape porn?

  • You ask two very different questions. "Is sleep porn bordering on rape?" and "Is sleep porn kind of like rape porn?"

First answer is no, porn is fictional and rape isn't.

Second answer is yes, I'd say that it pretty much counts as a type of rape porn but you know that forceful rape porn exists too.

A lot of people have rape fantasies, it's in the top 10 of most common fantasies with women actually. That doesn't mean that they would actually want to get raped, it just means that they could find it hot in a controlled fantasy setting with a specific guy. In the same way porn is just fantasy, it's not actual rape since it's done with the actors/actresses consent and they are getting paid for it.

  • Depends on the situation. We sometimes 'play' a similar game, especially when she's not in the mood. She'll roll over and lie sort of still while I spoon her, fondle her tits and frot her butt till I cum. I say 'sort of still' because sooner or later in the game she grinds me pretty good! She's cool with it since she has satisfied me and I am 'relieved'. If I were a stranger then it would be rape. Hard to imagine her sleeping through it unless she'd been fed a date rape drug. The name says it all: Rape!

  • I personally am into this for myself. I will preconsent the night before to certain things, writing it down on paper, and recording it whole it happens to make sure everything happens as planned. But I love the idea of getting played with while asleep and getting woken up by someone touching me. It depends on the people. Consent is always key, if you practice it in a safe manner it is okay and I don't believe it should be looked at as any type of rape play because I do draw the line at that. Rape is not something to joke around or mess around with.

  • Well it depends.

If the scene shows her saying no to him, then it is. But if it shows no form of consent or lack of consent, it's up to the viewer to decide if the man is raping the woman in her sleep or if she had previously consented to this happening.

  • Well, if they're professional actors who consented, then it isn't rape. However, I do think the actual scenario is akin to rape. The person doesn't know what's happening to him/her so... there's no consent. I do think sleep porn is a variety of rape porn.

  • It's porn, it's scripted out and consent is given before starting so I'm not sure why people think it's rape? Some people like to play certain scenarios, as long as both people are ok with it I don't really see the problem. I don't understand the appeal, but don't think it's wrong

  • I voted no because there is already a major push to falsely accuse all men of everything under the sun by lumping them all of being a rapist simply because they are male. That said, I think all porn is destructive and it causes many men to gain a false sense of what is reality when it comes to sex and how the female body is supposed to look. I would rather have her awake so we can both engage sexually, give pleasure, and receive pleasure. Sex is not one sided for only the man's pleasure.

  • I think it is and it is weird.

  • Well in the Internet it's obviously fake so it's not rape it's just porn if it were to happen in real life then yea it's rape I watched a couple of does videos on like pornhub it's kinda boring but I don't see a problem with just watching it

  • If those affirmative consent "Yes Means Yes" laws that feminists have been trying desperately to pass in recent times are passed, then yes, it will be considered rape by technicality and you will find your favorite porn genre effectively outlawed.

  • Weirdly I had girlfriend who liked me to do that from time to time.

    • Did *you* like it? Could you even get/stay hard?

    • @redeyemindtricks As a one off, it could be weirdly, kinkily hot. Especially since she'd be there, outwardly inert, but internally - shall we say - active.

    • I got you. If she was *actually* asleep that'd be another matter. If my man catches me looking off in random directions while we're fucking, he'll make me lie *completely* still -- no movement, no facial expressions, nothing. It's extra intense because I'm normally so demonstrative. (Usually I break after a while, and gladly accept the punishment.) My little brother's on-again-off-again-girlfriend actually gives head in her sleep. I KNOW RIGHT? I wouldn'ta believed it myself, except I saw it happen -- and then when I mentioned her, uh, "impropriety" the next day, she gave me the kind of absolutely mortified facial expression that just cannot be faked.

    • Show All
  • Only if she's actually asleep and hasn't told him she's into it

  • It's usually super fake and when it isn't then yes it could be rape.

  • Yea, it is.

  • No as the female porn star has given consent. In real life this is defiantly rape. However, it's hard/impossible to sleep though an orgasm. It's definitely fake.

  • Another one of those weird fetishes, why is this more weird than foot jobs or those guys who wear diapers? I don't know but it is disturbing to me, I don't judge but damn... lol.

  • Prior concent is given.

  • Not just bordering on rape, it is rape. By definition, if you don't give consent or are unable to give consent (such as when asleep), it is rape.

    • Obviously, it's just acting in the porno, but I'm talking about in real life.

  • Yeah it could be

  • Why can't he just wake he up and ask for permission to have sex with he while she is asleep? men are horrible human beings sorry 😐

    • Her*

    • Yup, we're ALL fucked up because porn creates scripted stories that apply to ALL of us. Love the gross generalization.
