Guys, can you help me understand something?

My boyfriend usually tells me when he's about to cum. Do you completely ignore precum in these situations? Like if you were having sex bearback would you let her know that you're precumming? How much time difference is there between when you precum and cum on average?

  • It's virtually impossible to tell if you are pre-cumming. It's basically seminal fluid that's slowly leaking out - but slow enough that you can't really feel it. When a man cums, his pelvic floor muscles have contractions that work in concert to "squirt" his cum from his prostate and through his penis. That we can definitely feel, and we can feel those pulses of fluid moving through our penis, because they're big and sudden.

You can't feel the slow leak of pre-cum, though. That's kind of a constant (but slow, low volume) thing when you are highly aroused - not too different than a woman getting wet during arousal.

  • For me, precum and cum are not the same thing. I mean, they may be the same um... stuff but precut is because its feeling good, cumming is because its time to explode and squirt. If she wanted to know if I was doing either I would tell her. I suppose, too, that precum can happen without me knowing where cumming cannot.

  • I guess it depends on the guy, but my boyfriend doesn't even feel when he's pre cumming.
And there's not really an average time. Like for him it can happen before we even start doing anything.

  • There's no way to know when precum comes out during sex. It doesn't feel like anything. Precum usually comes out either pre-sex, during-sex, or yes, even after sex.

  • I personally don't tell a girl "I'm pre-cumming"... but I definitely let her know when I'm releasing into her. Absolutely. For me, it depends... I can pre-cum, and not fully cum for a while or it can happen very quickly

  • I think you don't understand the definition of precum.

  • A man can stop before he can cum, take some few seconds rest and start stroking again. This helps him extend the gap before he finally cums. Mybwife actually tells me not to cum, and I do take breaks sonthat I don't cum quickly. And then either she allows me or when there is a situation that I'm almost exhausted, I whisper to her asking her to allow me to cum. Boys can do that.

  • You can't tell when you're precumming... so kind of a mute point

  • Precum is there for a long time. Just because you have a little precum coming out, doesn't mean you'll cum immediately. It's the sensation of being about to orgasm that he tells you. Precum doesn't matter.

    • pre-cum DOES matter:

  • You can't tell when there is pre-cum. It's often there as soon as the dick gets hard.

But keep in mind: there ARE sperm in pre-cum!

    read this: sexetc.org/.../

  • Ignore it

  • Precum is precum. Keeping until he could.

  • no, because there isn't any warning before precum

  • Precum is almost unnoticeable... very hard to even know when it's coming.

  • Precum is synonymous with flowing vaginal mucus (getting wet from arousal). You don't feel precum push out. It just happens even during making out or watching porn. By contrast, you know you are going to cum. Its a little like an escalator that speeds up as you get closer to the top and you have maybe a 10 second "warning". And the sensations of orgasm, hot flash, body spasm and pulsating downstairs are unmistakable.

  • The difference depends on how strongly aroused I am
